We're all happy to see the back of him, but you still have to reckon with the question, did the timing of Mourinho's sacking demonstrate that Daniel Levy considered the cup final to be an important, meaningful moment for the club?

Yes, I think it’s inflammatory as you know it gets a reaction. It’s not as outright as calling someone a cunt (my personal favourite), but it does elicit a response.
I’m not going to speak directly for Stevee, but I’d imagine that he sees the Jose appointment as a negative for Levy, but feels he merits praise for acting to sack him. I feel the opposite. I’m praising Levy for hiring him and slagging Levy for sacking him.
If you feel Jose was the wrong appointment, you should deride Levy for that. But then you have to say it’s a positive step that he sacked him. You can’t have it both ways.

I think thats a bit over sensitive to be made angry by being called levy lover. But fair enough.
Well we have to disagree on the levy stuff. By that logic he can keep making bad appointments & then give him praise when he sacks them. To me that just highlights a levy lover. As long as he sacks his mistakes then well done dan. Seems you want it both ways. He can choose crap managers so gets criticised but then lots of praise when he sacks them. When really its a bad costly mistake. Not something worthy of praise for.
But no point going around in circles on it. That's why I see you & stevee as levy lovers. & you see me as a hater. As somehow, even a terrible mistake like jose = more praise for levy.
Also, if an agent explains why one of his players didn't join a club. Is that his opinion or a solid fact? Be interested in what you think?

They always say if this happens I will be very cross with ENIC/levy. It then happens. They double down on their love & support of them.

Whereas what Stevee seems to be saying is:

We sacked Jose - GOOD Levy.
As for the agent thing? Fuck knows. Is he an honest agent? Is there such a thing? Is he telling the truth or spinning a yarn to get his player a good deal somewhere else? I’m sure you aren’t interested in what I think, but are digging around for some wee victory. But I’ve no idea if this hypothetical agent is a liar or not.

Hilarious. These guys have fucked up so much. They could have pulled it off by drip-feeding the details and having consultations. Even the closed shop aspect probably could have been shoved through in some guise. Get the fans thinking they deserve to be above everyone else forever (that aspect was even espoused on here bizarrely). We all saw how quickly the cowardly "rather be in it" brigade rose up. I was becoming genuinely worried that would be the prevailing view, but it didn't have time to fester fortunately.
Instead, they just randomly announced that they have started a tournament behind everyone's back. Additionally, they actively lied to everyone about it. I still think there is some fraud in there. For example, if they at any point lied to shareholders/members/investors that is a big deal.
