He's been mentioned so I just gave my opinion on him, IF there's truth in the rumour.
I don’t think we do.
We have lot loads of good players, Bergvall, Romero, Van De Ven, Udogie, Kudus etc. what we lack is elite players like Kane, like Son. 2 elite players in the right positions would go along way to fixing the mess we are in. A top draw CM who can pass, a top draw winger and a top draw LB/LCB and our team on paper looks a lot better. That is of course if our manager is then able to utilise the players well.

This discount was of such magnitude it forced his hand to bring richarlison in as the succession plan ?
60m for Richy was never deemed cheap by any standards
Anecdotally it was certainly played out in the media that conte wanted richarlison and indeed it was a demonstration by Levy of him backing his new manager

Tbh i think the january window moving forward will be more fruitful for us getting players. Last summer the supposed big boys just flexed their financial muscle. Tbh we need a top manager who can attract top players.
A lot of good players will play for us under frank if we pay top wages. Money talks. Why did top players join man city and Chelsea when they first became cash rich?

City paid Yaya Toure £60k a week more in 2010 (or was it 2011?) than our top earner makes today.

They do but if our club bids the same as City for a player, them having a better manager is going to influence things. I imagine a lot of top players around the world hadn't even heard of Thomas Frank when he was manager of Brentford or coaching in Denmark.
