Loved the interview from Frank, but equally did not think the below comments from Levy were appropriate at this juncture and could cast a long shadow this season if things don't exactly go to plan.

If Daniel actually believes the below and isn't just using it as a stick to beat Frank with, then he needs to back him seriously this summer.
“You saw the outpouring of emotion with the parade. It was just incredible. We’ve won a European trophy,” Levy said.

“But it’s not enough. It’s what we haven’t done that is more important. We need to win the league.

“We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League. We want to win.”

I was very cool on this appointment initially, but the news of his key backroom staff coming (esp Cochrane) and that calm, thoughtful interview are definitely upping the anticipation.

Frank seems like an excellent man-manager who gets the best out of the sum of his parts, especially with a young squad. Excited to see what he makes of the squad and particularly our forward line.

Indeed. Tbf it's nice to actually hear him say it rather than wringing his hands together and saying "winning is hard". But talk is easy. Now let's see him and his team focus primarily on the football and work methodically towards achieving these goals.
 
One thing I've not seen mentioned yet that I'm looking forward too with Frank is that he is a keen and positive communicator DURING matches. This will work wonders for the team and especially the younger players. Too often in games with ange u could see us struggling and getting things wrong and ange would do or say nothing to resolve it.

Let's see if the desire to win the premier league / champions league is within the next 2-3 seasons or the next 8-10 seasons.

A bunch of kids in the summer vs prem proven statement signings will clearly indicate the desire.
 
Only just had chance to watch his interview this morning. He's an incredibly articulate speaker and a great communicator. There's an underlying tone of 'no nonsense' in some of what he says. You work hard, that's non-negotiable. He shouldn't have to even say it, but the fact he did shows how important it is to him that players give 100% all the time. It will be interesting to see how the players respond to him, but by all accounts those in Brentford loved him.

I'm optimistic and looking forward to seeing what Thomas can do with this squad (on the assumption that there may be the odd addition, but keeping expectations low that we'll actually show real desire in the window).

Either way, he has my backing.
 
Wow he's seemingly won the fanbase over already, I wonder how he's gonna deal with the MUTINY in the dressing room, apparently Romero two footed him on his way in, Bentancur refused to give him some of his mate and Vicario barged him in the corridor shouting "Your'e not Ange"
