Seeing how excited JD was at the appointment on TalkSport bodes well. I’m genuinely excited for the new season.
One thing that will be vexing Levy is a feeling that he hasn't yet had a manager who will utilize those facilities to their fullest in terms of of the high-tech aspects, the connectivity with the youth team, etc.
Poch did sort of as it was being developed but despite their best efforts there was just never connectivity between Poch and Levy about the global view of the organization. Jose is a dinosaur, Conte is not a company man, and while Ange is tactically modern, he's still ultimately a guy who learned his trade in Aussie briar patches in the 90's.
Frank has never been at an entity nearly Spurs' scale, it's not like he's the *perfect* fit either, but the hope will be his background in intelligently run project at youth and senior levels can have every corner of Hotspur Way working together toward a coherent common goal.
Levy will let him down though, it’s just when. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.

Wonder what the Frank approach to matchday will be, the player hotel/lodge was Poch's idea ,players stayed at the lodge the evening pre match and arrived at The Lane by coach, this carried on under Jose and Conte. Ange scrapped that idea and players arrived at the stadium either driving themselves or being driven pre match, my money is on Frank going back to staying at the lodge , give him more time for tactical talks something that Dier claimed didn't happen under Ange.

Thomas Frank sent a classy message to Ange Postecoglou in his first interview as Tottenham boss.
The Dane has taken charge at Spurs after Postecoglou was sacked, despite leading the club to Europa League glory and a first piece of silverware since 2008.
Postecoglou remained hugely popular with the Spurs players but Daniel Levy and the club opted to part ways with the Australian due to the club’s domestic struggles.
Frank has left Brentford to replace Postecoglou in north London and, speaking for the first time since that move, paid tribute to the work of his predecessor.
“Huge congratulations to the club, to the team,” Frank said as he discussed the Europa League victory.
“Huge congratulations to Ange. He’ll forever be a legend in Tottenham and congratulations to him for that.
“I think it’s very important to understand that we all stand on the shoulders of others. I’m going in on the foundations that Ange built and his coaching staff, and I’m very humble about that.
“I’ll do my very best to continue the great work that he put in.”

The first day video was nice but my one takeaway is that one of the chefs at the training ground is a near soundalike for Harry Kane.

What a lovely man.
I'm not saying otherwise but he knows that Postecoglou left on a good note with many of the supporters, players, ex-players, and certain journalists, because of the Europa League trophy. So he'd be mad not to align himself with that, and not to announce he wants to build on it.
