Just re-watched it. Unless there's an extended cut I can't hear DL mention Fabio anywhere.
The one thing I'm not hearing from this guy is a clear intent of what he feels we should be achieving and what his targets are for the coming season.
He gave the basics that he wants to bring more success and praised Ange etc. But I didn't hear anything like wanting to challenge for the league, or the top 4.
I didn't get a feel for the targets.
Either that's because he's seen the squad and knows we are short so is wary of setting any, or this is a "long term project" which the fans simply won't have patience for.

No target he gave would have been met well. Whatever he set would have been met with agreement/anger/ ridicule and more.
Our fanbase has so many different ideas of success - some on here went straight to belittling our Europa win.
Just enjoy these few weeks where generally everyone is just in waiting and see mode.
I'm just interested in honesty tbh.
He knows what is working with or will do given a few months training with the players.
Maybe its too early for his assessment.
But I'd just to like to hear him say what the targets are that the club have given him and what he feels we can actually achieve and what we need to go to the next level.
If you asked Arteta what his targets are for next season he would say win the league.
If our goals aren't that, which clearly they aren't. Then just be honest with us.
Is this another "long term project" 4 or 5 windows to fix (which we know he won't get)
Is it a top four push and going full bore for a domestic cup.
Just lay it out for us.
In fairness he did say the Europa League made us winners now we have to become serial winners.
But we also know Levy's eyes will always be on CL qualification.
There is not ever going to be mid-table complacency at Levy's Spurs, though there are increasingly mid-table levels of investment. Buckle up!
True. And some on here proclaim that it matters not one bit whether we get battered in the league week after week if we aren't going to win the league or get relegated. Tho I somehow expect they will be commenting furiously on each league performance in the coming season.
There's disingenuous responses on all sides.
I'm on record as saying that one of the main things I want is attractive, entertaining football. That then gets twisted to me saying I'm ok with losing as long as 'we got our Tottenham back'.
I don't think anyone was happy with our league position last season. It just that some understood that we were putting all our eggs in the Europa basket at the end.
Fact is everyone who is really Spurs would love us challenging for everything. That has to be the aim at the start of every season. Whether we deem a season a success is then done in hindsight.
Last season was unique and won't be repeated.
Rightly or wrongly, depending on your own personal view. The club put all of their eggs in the winning the Europa basket. Because it provided a Champions league place and because of how incredibly shit the bottom three were we were never in danger of relegation.
Luckily for them they were vindicated in that decision, but it still cost Ange his job.
This season is different, of course people are going to destroy Frank if we are down at the bottom of the table.

Thomas Frank sent a classy message to Ange Postecoglou in his first interview as Tottenham boss.
The Dane has taken charge at Spurs after Postecoglou was sacked, despite leading the club to Europa League glory and a first piece of silverware since 2008.
Postecoglou remained hugely popular with the Spurs players but Daniel Levy and the club opted to part ways with the Australian due to the club’s domestic struggles.
Frank has left Brentford to replace Postecoglou in north London and, speaking for the first time since that move, paid tribute to the work of his predecessor.
“Huge congratulations to the club, to the team,” Frank said as he discussed the Europa League victory.
“Huge congratulations to Ange. He’ll forever be a legend in Tottenham and congratulations to him for that.
“I think it’s very important to understand that we all stand on the shoulders of others. I’m going in on the foundations that Ange built and his coaching staff, and I’m very humble about that.
“I’ll do my very best to continue the great work that he put in.”
