We definitely had chances. Three pretty good ones if I remember right. What we got was, flattered.
They somehow managed to be offside multiple times when our stupid line was in their half most of the time, they also broke that offside trap many times but couldn't hit a barn door when the chances arose. Vicario looked like the worlds best keeper at stages, running out and closing down the breaks. It was pitiful, Chelsea should have have 6-8 goals in truth.
So no, we didn't nearly get anything. Even if our disallowed 2nd goal had counted, Chelsea would have just pushed harder and our silly line would have caved eventually.

Until it went to 1-1 then 10 men then 9 men we were probably the better side.We definitely had chances. Three pretty good ones if I remember right.
'What if' works both ways.
You're always looking for a fight...ignore activatedDidn't even mention anything about us being better or anything Tottenham at all. Just pointing out that Brentford didn't perform against the big teams as it was suggested they did
No mate. You mis remember. By 1-1 , Poch had already rearranged the midfield and we were struggling to contain them. That is what led to Romero's red card. After our disallowed second goal, the game turned in their favour, especially in midfield.Until it went to 1-1 then 10 men then 9 men we were probably the better side.
Chelsea 100% were committing Poch like fouls all over the pitch and trying to wind us up. Ultimately, it worked, we lost our marbles and then injuries as well. It was what Poch was trying to do with us and at PSG at times - proper shithousery.
It was only really the turning point i misremembered. We don't know how that game pans out if we don't lose both Romero AND VdV before Maddison and Udogie as well.No mate. You mis remember. You are right. I, for one, am looking forward to Frank. Flexible, thoughtful and practical. We have some good players who can thrive under a well drilled, organised set up.Can we move all the Ange apologetics to the evANGEelists thread, this one is about OUR fecking manager. Not the one who's been punted back to... well, nowhere, it seems. But he's gone and living in the past is irrelevant

Nope- he’s still in the room here with us!
You don't know what you've got till it's gone
