Yeah I wouldn't be surprised mate, he's a good player and with VVD getting older they will need to replace him.I think Liverpool will be in for him next summer. Apparently Slot is a big fan of Mickey

Can you see Levy doing a Maranakis over VDV or will he deal when the price is right?Yeah I wouldn't be surprised mate, he's a good player and with VVD getting older they will need to replace him.

I think the football is going to be absolutely horrific as this season gets going.
You don't understand...kids are cheaper..I think you are missing my point a little.
Even when we had the ascendancy for 5-6 seasons there was never a huge gulf between our squads. They still had some players we would have taken into our team.
Right now I'm not sure there are many of our players that even make their squad.
And I'm pointing fingers at our absentee owners who through a series of inept appointments and a lack of spending have set us back decades.
You might point to our net spend and say that Levy does spend money, but he doesnt' do it in the right way, he would rather buy 2-3 kids for £70m than just buy a top player for example an Eze and make him a top earner at the club in terms of wages.
This is why we have fallen behind. We are putting all our eggs in one basket with kids and its just a huge risk. For one our fanbase doesn't have the patience to watch us floundering in the wilderness while we wait for a bunch of 18-19 year olds to reach their peak mid 20's.
And then there is always the possibility they get poached off us. There is also no guarantee that they fulfill their potential.
This is why other big clubs don't operate like this.
The goons along with the other big clubs just go out and buy the real McCoy ready made off the shelf no waiting.
Its high time we started acting like a big club, we aren't Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest.

I don't think something truly extraordinary is required for Frank to be out if work come Christmas. If we struggle against Burnley, then I guarantee there will be booing in the ground and Levy out chants."We've got our Tottenham back" has always been a meme. Fans don't care about entertainment nearly as much as they do about the scoreline. The former is just a bonus.
Now, if the manager in question is dislikable on other grounds, which was definitely the case with JM and Conte, ugly football can be used as an additional stick to beat him with. But it's not decisive by itself.
After sticking with Ange despite hitting new lows all season and getting rewarded for it at the end, I don't see Levy pulling the trigger on Frank within next season barring something truly extraordinary.
Frank was appointed not to chase down the trophies but instead, to coach the team to overachieve saving Enic on spending too much."We've got our Tottenham back" has always been a meme. Fans don't care about entertainment nearly as much as they do about the scoreline. The former is just a bonus.

Bigging up Woolwich in his presser..
I don't like it.
Going on about how they are one of the best teams in the World right now, the most pertinent thing we should all be asking is why are they so far ahead when we were miles and miles ahead of them a few short years ago and get ENIC/Levy/Lange/ whoever the fuck it is to pull their fucking finger out and buy some quality.
Also when we were ahead I don't remember any of their managers referring to us as one of the best in the world.
We need to get shot of this inferiority complex.
We should be competing with them at the top table, there is no longer an excuse. I'm not going back to 15 yrs ago looking up at them. This shit isn't acceptable
It’s twice he’s done that now. Last time he said some shit about their invincible team going unbeaten and for sure we’d lose games
He’s trying to lower expectations and pressure but it’s coming off as small time mentality.
He can fix it, and he does need to. We aren’t Brentford
. We have a better crop of U23 players then I think any other team in the world. Keep them together for 2/3 years and we’ll be back on top.
You mean..... Mr. Maranakis. Can you see Levy doing a Maranakis over VDV or will he deal when the price is right?

no numbnuts.Clearly finishing 17th is a very low or bad outcome for us. Statistically (even though it’s hard to see), that means we had bad luck
We have a better crop of U23 players then I think any other team in the world.
Per Transfermarkt, our most valuable U23 player is Destiny Udogie, who is in a multi-way tie for the 60th most valuable U23 player in the world. Gray and Bergvall next in the 70's.This is so embarrassingly untrue and you must know it is. There are many clubs with better U23 talent than us on paper. Most of our U23 talent is not of the top calibre at all, it’s actually a lot of punts.
Out of all of them we will be doing well if even two become genuinely top class premier league players.
5th and a Trophy in 2 seasons, a raft of teenage stars who have now learned from the mistakes of losing premier league games and also built the belief they can win things.
Frank himself repeatedly stating that he wants to build on the foundations and success Ange left but add a more defensive balance.
Tel, Mikey played a fair bit, Odobert was still 19 and starting before his injury.I’m not sure of this raft of teenagers we had playing that many minutes in PL games? Raft normally means a lot.
I’d say a “couple”. Bergvall And Gray.
Looking like a club destined for greatness.
