0.88xg at home to Wolves, sorry frank you gotta do better than this
Far too many of our players coasting and looking far too comfortable.

No urgency - even after we equalised we were still dicking about when we should have been pumping it upfield to try and salvage one of the worst halves of football we've played since the last worst half of football we've played.

For me he has to figure out a way to get more out of the front 3. Putting in a couple of good crosses from wide positions a game isn't going to cut it. I think the midfield 3 needs tweaking a bit you have palinha as the central battler then either sarr or bergvall as the engine with xavi central in the pockets further forward.
I do think we’ll notice a difference when our number 9 isn’t Richarlison. Love his effort and cuntiness, but he’s not at the level we need.

Keeping the faith until we get Dom or RKM up front for a while. See where we are then.

Surely now he will realise that it has to be Tel/Odobert at LW, at least until Muani is available, despite their shortcomings.

All of the other options make us weaker.
And lets be honest, they weren't worse than Johnson, Xavi or Kudus on that side. Despite they are becoming a joke for never scoring, they are young and used to play in the position. I don't mind if they can't score as long as they show up to the game and develop as players, they shouldn't be our biggest problem with Richarlison as a striker.

I know it's early in his tenure but I find it bizarre how we seem to have accepted and dare I say it been excited for free kicks, corners and above all long throws. We mocked that lot for the exact same thing, rightfully so, and yet seem to want to copy them instead of focusing on being able to break teams down with the ball.

Like I said it's early and there's nothing wrong with adding a threat with long throws and set pieces in general but not at the expense of playing football to punish these sorts of teams, especially at home.
We're relying on set plays due to having absolutely zero creativity in the team

We miss Maddison , big time

I wish pay was based off performance. :(

But seriously, they all seem to lack precision with the way they play on and off the ball, they lose that sense of responsibility in how they should be knocking the ball about. Dozens of times I saw us cross the ball into nothingness, they just lack basic Sunday league skills it seems. We're doomed.

This was to be expected because he wanted to make us defensive solid first but it’s ugly

Keep seeing this being thrown around, but until when should we really talk about the defiency of attack? GW10? Christmas? Or next season? Because our Justin Cochrane is supposed to be a brilliant attacking coach helping in that. So far this just doesn't reflect well on both Frank and Cochrane.

He clearly doesn't fully trust Odobert on the left, and Johnson and Tel hardly at all.

But out of them he needs to just use Odobert and move Xavi into the middle.

Things will be a bit janky at times because he doesn't see the quality he requires.

Summer window will be significant imo.

Yup, we are shit at LW - but by trying to fix that with half measures like playing there Xavi or Kudus - we end up being shit not only at LW, but also at other positions.

Prefer to just roll with natural LW like Odo or even Tel till window- who maybe are not that good, but at least we are not hurting other departments.

Tel is a waste of time, would rather try Udogie there.

Odobert should be our default, tho.

......Yet in each match (bar perhaps Bmuff) we can point to moments where we're unfortunate to have not scored even more.

And thus on rages the eternal 'XG v eye-test' debate.

A few clowns insisted (by virtue of X-stats) that Wolves had more and better chances than us in the 1st half....... That's utter horseshit.

It’s annoying that we are starting another project but we do need to give it time.

Can’t build everything at once

Let’s be honest here, we haven’t really looked good offensively in many games. Second half vs Brighton when Xavi came on in the 10 being the exception not the rule

It's more of a steady run of results than that new manager bounce which gains the attention of the media and then fades which gains the attention of the media again. Give the give the geeza some time you can't hang the curtains up without a rail
