You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. This squad is poor like it was under the last manager. We have one "top end" area: our Back 5. Injuries to any of them and it all starts to fall apart quite quick.
Frank now starts to face the inevitable pressure. Problem for him is the last manager won a European Trophy with that Back 5 fit. Two consequences of this are "expectation" but also the simple fact that we now have to mix it in the Champions League. Monaco are EL level at best and they absolutely ran rings around us tonight.
Frank has to find a way of stamping his mark on this team now. They looked lost tonight - that was the worrying thing.
