As predicted.

You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. This squad is poor like it was under the last manager. We have one "top end" area: our Back 5. Injuries to any of them and it all starts to fall apart quite quick.

Frank now starts to face the inevitable pressure. Problem for him is the last manager won a European Trophy with that Back 5 fit. Two consequences of this are "expectation" but also the simple fact that we now have to mix it in the Champions League. Monaco are EL level at best and they absolutely ran rings around us tonight.

Frank has to find a way of stamping his mark on this team now. They looked lost tonight - that was the worrying thing.
 
Think he needs to have somewhat a strong season in my opinion.
Because the spectre of a certain someone will come into frame in the summer if it goes poorly

Hahahha ahh here we go. Monaco are without a shit ton of players, sacked their coach, are a much inferior side. Yet their coach, in his first game had them playing football. Apparently 5 months and £200m+ in transfers doesn't allow us to play football.

I'm not the one who brings him up, ever. I'm glad he's gone, I'm very over it.

I’m sure the ten players we had missing had nothing to do with it then. Glad we cleared that up! 😂
 
Here’s what no one seems to get…we have a bad squad. It’s as bad as it was last year. While Ange was too stupid to acknowledge he had a shit squad and be pragmatic, he’d go balls to the wall attacks no matter the consequences. Frank sees we have a short squad and adjusts to get as many points as possible. He’s miles ahead of Ange.
