Not building towards anything at all. Iraola has an actual system, and his Bournemouth team struggled until they learned that system. Frank goes from game to game hoping to stink out the opposition. It’s not going to work. A good manager like Nuno, but it doesn’t translate to what should want to be a top 8 club at minimum.

I think he thought we would get hammered if we played football

Turned out we are so bad we get hammered anyway
Yep, I think he’s trying to shut up shop because he doesn’t believe we have the players to play an expansive game.

Whatever people believe Brentford were quite front foot forward last season, so I don’t believe low block, long ball football is all he can play.

What I'm worried about is Frank seems to lack confidence and bravery, as that's reflected in how we play and its transmitting to the players.

There's a real lack of confidence in how we attack and it's all very sterile.

Their 4th goal was pathetic. We had a throw in half way up the pitch , 3-1 down, and Romero decides to pass the whole way back to Vicario who punts the ball up field, we cough up possession and the goal builds from there.

Where are the options at the throw in? There's no bravery, far too negative in our decision making...and that's emanating from the coaching staff.

Forget PSG. We'll get done no matter the approach but Fulham is a massive game.

If he doesn't set us up to play on the front foot at home here and we don't get a result it will be toxic in that stadium come Saturday night

Wont judge him with what he has at his disposal but you can't put in gutless performances against your rivals.

Let him have another 2 windows to see what he can achieve. We know for a fact that he wanted another left winger..we obviously need more but that's a start. He wanted MGW ,Mbuemo and Eze and had to settle for Kudus (which is fine) and Simons who has been a disaster so far meaning we have no creative player from a central position with Maddison and Kulu out.

This might actually be believable if it didn't come after so many other shit performances of the same nature.
I'll probably calm down a bit next few days but it's getting very hard to back him

Someone need to show him the chelscum game, the Monaco one, Bournemouth, Newcastle? What else. Bodo, Wolves? Brighton. Yeah. I believe him today's just a blip. Yeah right.

Opposite of the intention? He fucking selected 5 defenders plus Palhina and Bentancur

What the fuck else did he or anyone else expect

The guy has totally lost it

Looking at what players he has to work with I still give him support (not sure if I should as he wanted us to sign Tel)
we have a bunch of duffers that need moving on, Richy, Odobert, Tel, Johnson (unless we go 2 up front)
why are players recieving the ball facing our goal ( that is coaching)
If you believe that then buy this multi coloured pill off me that adds 10 inches to your cock.

Very disappointed in the way we approached the game today , far too defensive , is it TFs or the players mentality I don't know .
TF said it was not the way we were supposed to approach the game yet time and again I seen players with the ball and space in front of them , slow , stop and pass back , Vicario not releasing early when an Arse play broke down .
I know we have some very average players so I am going to cut TF some slack , but there needs to be a total mind change to how we play .

I hate the fact we are talking about this already but it won’t work. We are too big. We need big time coach. We could’ve went and got Xavi and changed the whole culture of the club in the summer but all we did was continue this rut we are in regarding managers.

Well, the team he picked doesn’t seem to suggest any intention to win the game.

Is this true, though? We’ve tried this before. We brought in Jose, failed. We brought in Conte. Failed/burned down.

We have bought PL proven players like Bissouma, Richarlison, Solanke, Maddison. These are all players who excelled at their former clubs in the PL. Only Maddison can be considered any sort of success and he’s been on the sideline most of his time here.

Our strongest performers are from outside the PL. VdV, Romero, Bergvall, Porro, even Spence was a Championship signing.
José and Conte delivered better results than Ange or Frank, but they fought with Levy and didn't get much support from the club. Despite that, I think Mourinho was past his best, it's true, and the fooball was boring, and Conte shouldn't be backed as he just wanted to bring old players that could only succeed in italian football.

About PL provem players, most of them are good buys, I don't know why you would not mention Palhinha and Kudus, probably our best players this season. Maddison was very good for us too, as was Solanke, even Bissouma played very good football for some time.

Judging that Danso is a optimal play in this game versus another CM for me is madness.

I accept that Frank didn't intend for that to happen, but dear lord does it show skewed acumen. You can't just give up the whole middle of the pitch and expect any kind of positive results.

Was Frank's choice to play 5 ATB and Richarlison and Odobert in attack. Tel was an option at least, and deserved an opportunity after his goal against United.
We all knew sitting back in five ATB and relying on them to do nothing with the ball didnt make a lot of sense, considering their quality.
Though this is in relation to our poor recruitment, Frank doesnt exactly have the best attacking options available.
