Let’s keep Frank and also bring back Ange. Frank can keep these guys organized in our own end, and we can have some structure there and on set pieces. Ange can have us play that kamikaze style from the halfway line and in, so we can take some risks and score some goals. What could possibly go wrong?!

I just want to point out that in the weeks leading up to Russel Martin getting sacked, Rangers had been telling Scottish newspapers that he's not going to be sacked.

We fucked up massively not going for him. Instead we ended up loaning other players anyways (RKM) that aren't even full-time left wingers.

For potential, yeah. He’s not a top player right now though - could be. Porro in the right system maybe but he’s just a less good Spanish trent if we’re being brutal.
Maddison is very good, at his best probably Eze level? But more fragile and easier to bully out of a game because he’s so weedy without a low centre of gravity.
The rest range from some potential (Bergvall.. Spence maybe although I’m very unsure on him) to just outright crap.
The likes of Kudus & Vicario fall in to the would be solid mid table players category. Kudus maybe a bit more than that (see first season at West Ham) as I think he’s fallen foul of terrible support.
You think current Trent is better than Porro? I never really have been impressed with the defense of either, to be honest...
I worry that as electric as Kudus can at times be, that he may be one of those "nod my head but never listen" types that are secretly un-coachable, and as you say, destined to be mid table players.

Trent is or at least was miles better. His peak seasons he was the creative fulcrum of title winning teams. Everything Porro does well Trent does better.. neither can defend.
