Ie: if we had a sprinkling of genuine world class talent across the team they would elevate everyone into being better than the sum of their parts. But we don't have ANY genuine world class players in the team (Cuti is the closest thing to it ffs!) - so everyone just plays at their level with littel or no hope of being better than the sum of themsleves.
The last time we had a team that was better than the sum of its talents was Postecoglou's first season and, before that, Conte's first 6 months.
We need - and, by extension, any manager needs - WORLD CLASS TALENT signed. Asap.

I said that beating Brentford, my fear was it was because of how poor they were rather than us being any good. I think this was sadly true. Brentford just didn't turn up, my Brentford ST holder mate who is a hardcore fan, goes home and away, said it was the worst he has ever seen them play in the PL.

The problem is - we didn't sign any World Class players for any of the previous 3 managers so...
Actually, at the same stage last year we were 10th, had 23 points, goals for of 36, goals against 19.
