Last night this total prick had the opportunity to combine Souza and Tel against Trippier and he chose to play Spence out of position and Bissouma. Coward.
We have to get an attacking manager to replace him.

I'm almost convinced he saw Office Space and modelled his time here on Peter Gibbons's approach to work

The quote that finally did for him

"Yeah, I’m convinced I will be. I understand the question and I understand it’s easy to point to me but I also think it’s never only the head coach or the ownership or the directors or the players or the staff. It’s everyone," he said.

I am not looking at anything above and beyond what stops us getting relegated.

I don’t know enough about Heitinga.

Agree on De Zerbi, he’s an arrogant prick. But that might be what we need.

Some of our players need a proper fucking rocket.
He would at least have them working on their weaknesses in training. We do the basic things SO badly right now.
Proven winner...

At Barcelona.

Oh wait, I've just checked my notes, also Al Sadd...

Totally relevant to a PL relegation battle.
Literally all the things that people did, and still do, use to give AngeLoss weight.
Australia. Japan. Scotland.
Europa League.
Wins everywhere he goes, mate.

If it's acceptable for him, why not for Xavi H?

Short answer is that those people were idiots and it wasn't acceptable for him.

If the board appoint Xavi, there's as much chance if not more that it's a total disaster as there is of him being amazing. Whilst there's a chance it could work out a charm, if they appoint Xavi then it just demonstrates that they are making a purely superficial appointment rather than actually formulating a proper plan.

Hiring him would be like going for Zidane, a proven winner! Who's only ever managed Real Madrid...

Use some critical thinking here. Gold has obviously had this info ready to go for a while but he was waiting for Frank to be sacked.

He is a club journalist who is nothing without his sources. He can't put out stuff like that whilst he was still in his job. He has to interact with Frank every week. Now he's gone he is free to say he lost the dressing room.

I have no reason to disbelieve it, it's been fucking clear for months something was wrong behind the scene. That Frank alienated large sections of the squad with poor man management makes total sense.
Gold is a useful idiot.

Vinai and Lange want to put it all on Frank and deflect from themselves and the players so they look less incompetent.

And some people were saying even just last week it was clear they were still playing for him LOL.

I called it out months ago. It was obvious he'd lost the players back in October.

I said a while back, I do think they were playing for him

As he kept saying, you can see in the running stats etc - effort was there

BUT - I dont think they ever believed in his football

I don't totally disagree.
But at least Xavi does have experience of real elite football, not pub leagues for 30+ years.
I'd say he's 50/50 as to whether he could translate it. You wouldn't discount a prime Fergie because he'd only succeeded (In England) with the United 90's/00's Juggernaut

And so it begins. The defense of the players.

It was all the managers fault. Couldn't have been them, they are such a reliable, consistent bunch of good eggs. Just being mismanaged.

Its true. At least in part - the manager has to manage, get players onside, playing winning football etc

Whenever a manager leaves its because they didnt do the job fully - and theres always those that will complain about them

Same for any manager leaving any club
