Ange ruined the players mentality and turned them into losing machines.
It's the irrefutable reality of the situation.
Mainly because he has some re-deeming features whereas Frank has none. Zip. Nada. Worse football I've seen this season in the league and even as compared to my C-Grade local league. Indefensible.
The job of repairing the physiological damage done to these players, by Ange, was too much for Frank, especially having to start with no final third, then consistent injuries throughout.
Didn't have the tools for the task to compensate for the deep-rooted psychological instability and inbuilt losing bias coded into them over a whole season...game after game after game.
Did he make tactical mistakes? Absolutely.
Criticised him on a good few occasions for being unwise in his approach.
Was he the manager we saw at Brentford?

De Zerbi has had two matches and the player mindset and their approach is already different.
Frank is a reactive manager, who has had years of experience working in environments where it was necessary to play on the back foot. He may well turn to have "success" playing that way in those environments.
Worse he took that philosophy to the nth degree with our playing group that did not and could not play way.
I guess you could say it wasn't his fault for being appointed as he couldn't have been a worse fit if the club actively sought that out.
De Zerbi hasn't won a game and isn't extracting anything mindblowing out of these players these last two games.
Signs are good in spells of play tough, yes.
We've got players back from injury, which is a huge help.
If you're asking me if he's a better coach than Frank, I'd absolutely agree.
If we had a shot at getting De Zerbi in instead of Frank, I'd have bitten that hand off, absolutely.
But he was at Marseille doing well and that wasn't even on the cards.
