Link attached below from ESPN.Any links to Ange saying that he wouldn’t criticise a player in public?
Not doubting you but I’ve been debating all day with a few mates Ange’s decision to dig one player out in a shocking display by the rest of the side with only Forster coming out with any credit so I need ammunition!
Personally I believe Ange was totally wrong to do that and shows a total lack of class and ignorance of man management!
Whether it was true about Werner being lazy is irrelevant imv as any criticism Ange had should have been made to Timo’s face in private and never should have gone public!
Hopefully this will be the last straw for Levy and he’ll fire the waste of space on Monday after we lose at Soton!
About half way down the article where he’s criticising Romero for his comments, Ange says:
"Cristian realises what he said ... A lot of what he said was good, some wasn't right and shouldn't have been done in public," Postecoglou told a news conference on Wednesday.
"We deal with these things in our own four walls. There's always issues we need to deal with. The same way I wouldn't criticise a player or anyone else, we shouldn't be doing that in a public sense.”

Ange: Romero's Spurs criticism not handled well
Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has said that Cristian Romero's criticism of the club's hierarchy following the team's 4-3 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday was not handled in the right way by the player and revealed he has apologised for his comments.
