Gutted for us and for him. Having said that if we can build on Saturdays result and start picking up results without him then he should have had a good rest and be firing on all cylinders especially with a WC next summer.
We've had our fair share of injuries the last 12 months or so.

If I remember correctly the last match I watched Jan was at LB, but Toby was in the middle now. Would be a truly dangerous team and not just darkhorses all the time if they could sort out some proper fbs.

It was more that it will be a great incentive for him to get back to his best for us. Not that I think Toby would need that as he comes across as a great professional.
The guy has proven how important he is to this club and how much we need him. He should get paid accordingly.
Is it me or are players out for longer periods these days than years ago-whats the motivation?
Players used to play all season with niggling injuries and just play through them. I guess its football... when theres something to play for, everyone wants to play-whereas when your struggling or a WC coming , suddenly players seem to rest up. We should have a rested, fit and injury free squad going into the latter stages of the season.
