Top 4 & the CL it is then. Not the end of the world lads. Top 4 is still a good achievement considering everything. & the quarter finals of the CL too. Need a lot more backing if we are serious about titles.

We do. But we definitely don't play as pretty/well. Anyone who has ever played football knows that the ball rolls differently on a wet and soggy pitch.

I didn't say that we lost because of the pitch. But pitch conditions are obviously a factor.

We lost because we could not adapt to it and didn't take our opponent seriously enough. Wasteful at the back, not urgent enough, seemingly had a lot of players saving themselves for Chelsea on Wednesday. Lazy performance.
 
We may be out of the title race. But for a team that's had zero investment for a season and a half we've given it a pretty good go.
Let's just hope the boys can hold it together long enough to secure another top 4 finish. That in itself would be a huge achievment in the face of such a scandalous dereliction of duty from the owners.

But he alone wasn't at fault today. A piss-poor performance. Sissoko played like it was 2016, Aurier was bad, Son was terrible, the others, bar Kane, were just not good. Still, we could've had it, until Poch changed from three CBs and let them back into the game.

Issue was we changed from 3 CBs but took our most competent CM off, which left a huge defensive and offensive hole in the middle of the pitch. Foyth should have come off for Lucas first, instead of winks for llorente
 
Papa Poch absolutely fucking livid with Dean. Sounds like Dean said something he really took offense to.
