It does seem much ado about nothing, in truth. They're shit at the new stadium, but there's a load of blathering on as if they're not massive favourites to begin with. If woolwich were 6 points behind them there'd be a load of fretting in here about how can we possibly even get a draw.
The squad and manager will 100% be giving it everything they've got. Footballers and footballing professionals aren't supporters, don't think like supporters, and more than anyone would like to know are certainly chummy as fuck with those gooner cunts and would laugh and congratulate them in Ibiza this summer.
Fortunately, our best is demonstrably not good enough and the only question is whether City bottle it or not.

I think it's okay and pretty normal for there to be disconnect between fans and the players/coaches on this situation to be honest. The players and the manager should 100% be looking to go out there, play their hardest to win since anything less would instill a terrible mentality in the team.
From a fan perspective, I think there's nothing particularly wrong with not being disappointed with a City win. We're not even guaranteed the Champions League if we do win and Woolwich winning the league is infinitely worse than us missing CL football for one season.
I'd love for us to actually be the better team on the night, or at least go toe to toe with them for 90 minutes and really show promise and the sparks for how good we can be going forward. Seeing the likes of Scarlett and Moore and the both of them impressing but ultimately losing on the night.
