You clearly didn’t see the text exchanges between Partey and the victim which she shared with the world after he got off the hook on a technicality then. I’m not assuming guilt but I’m pretty damn sure he did it based on what I’ve seen.
No I didn't.

But was it proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was his number? It's not like its difficult to fake a text. And if it was his phone, then great they have him bang to rights don't they?

My point still stands, he's guilty only once the judge declares he is.

cretinous goat I'd really love to know the reason for the disagree.

Nothing I've said there is even remoteley controversial. And I'm ripe and ready to have this debate with any fucker on here.

You can't sentence and execute somebody in the court of public opinion because of some allegations.
That would be open to all kinds of abuse, Which is why we have a legal system and it requires proof rather than she said/he said.
Men get accused of this stuff all the time and it destroys lives even if the person didn't do anything it can end up wrecking their entire life, offthe back of one persons word against another persons.
it's not right, I know somebody it happened to. His life was ruined even though he was totally exhonerated and she even admitted to lying about the whole thing. Didn't matter, because once that allegation is there idiots like yourself assume guilt.

If/when he's found guilty in a court of law he'll get whats coming to him. Hopefully a long time in prison, but until then its pure tribal bullshit and beneath us as a fanbase.

Do you want to live in a world where if a couple of people alledge a crime we go out and lynch somebody?
What if somebody had a grudge against you and it was you being lynched?

Try engaging your brain for a change, would be refreshing for all of us.

I'd have answered your questions had it not been for your last line.

Newsflash - you want a dialogue/discussion, maybe don't insult the person you want to have a debate with.

Now you get nothing - and if you repeat yourself, you'll get disagreed with again. Let this be a lesson on how you speak to people.

(And no, I won't resort to your kind of behaviour. Disgraceful! Bin voted.)

The evidence presented on Twitter for all to see was pretty damning though, don’t you think? And he wasn’t cleared - it was that the alleged rape wasn’t on U.K. soil and was committed literally weeks before a change in U.K. legislation would give the U.K. police power to charge U.K. residents for sexual offences committed in foreign countries. He is still under investigation for two other allegations of rape by two women.

Exactly this.

You insult people on here all the time, stop being such a fucking drama queen. Everyone knows what you are like.

It's fine if you don't have a cohesive argument against anything I said I'll move on, It's no skin off my nose.

It's not like I expected you would have anything compelling to offer anyway.

When we spanked them 3-0 back in May. They obviously all left early but they asked police for an Escort back to Seven Sisters as one was not planned until the final whistle.
They will have an escort again and will act all tough with their silly boy flares and their "we won the league at Shite Hart Lane" chant etc. Those not in the escort will not wear any colours and will not say a word.
They are simple facts.

They threaten a turn out every year and it never materialises

Worth thinking about!

In Germany there was a case of a teacher who was accused of raping a colleague.
The man was sentenced to prison, which I think he served for 5 years.

He was released after these 5 years because it could be proven that the woman had lied.

Shortly after his release (a few months later), the man died of a heart attack.

In that respect it makes me think.

On the other hand - if I use a case from Germany as an example - on the other hand the "National Socialist Underground" was convicted of killing nine people (2011). According to the court, this "National Socialist underground" consisted of only 3 people. A lot of people still laugh about it today. Everyone knows that there were and are accomplices from the right-wing scene. These are still at large today because they "formally legal" did not belong.

If I understand correctly, then "She said no" should be shouted. Of course it's referring to someone. If you shouted "A no is a no" - would that be a compromise?

As of now, I don't know how I would act after reading your posts. However, the arguments of "El Noel" also make sense to me.

Yes, it's very family-like here at times.

I learned that too and - I got used to it.

That one of the posters that keep this forum alive here occasionally leaves clear/clear words is just the way it is.

There are other, newer members of the family that are more nasty and generally messier than cretinousgoat.

But since he is always said to be to blame for everything, I propose that he run for prime minister.
Maybe that would be a step forward - not only for the forum (which of course he would remain loyal to)..?

The guy I knew lost his job, his family and most of his friends.

Later on it became clear she had lied and did it because she was infatutated with him and he told her where to go. But by then its too late isn't it? the damage is done.

There are also many recorded cases of women who accuse rich men for a pay off.

I'm not trying to play down rape, or say women shouldn't be believed.

I just don't think its something I'd chant until he was at least proven guilty.

But then I'm big on innocent until proven guilty and have gone to bat for it on here regarding all manor of public scandals.

As a society we are way too quick to presume guilt.

Whenever I see an article that somebody has been sacked due to x.y or z allegations it boils my piss. We have Innocent until proven guilty for a very good reason as a bedrock of our society. Without it we are a society who mass up with torches and pitchforks march somebody up to a tree and string them up.

Under normal circumstances I’d agree with you, however under normal circumstances the prosecution would have presented the evidence in court in a trial. The general public would not have had access to this evidence to draw their own conclusions and we could rely on the justice system to determine whether the alleged perpetrator was guilty or not.

These are not normal circumstances, however. A lot of evidence for the first of three allegations was published publicly. Yes, text conversations/images can be doctored, however the way the victim was presenting the conversation by scrolling through her phone would have made this a lot more difficult to achieve. More than likely the exchange was genuine.

And why was the evidence published online? Because the victim tried to achieve justice in her own way as the case fell through due to a technicality, not through lack of evidence or perjury. The U.K. law failed to protect her.

So at least in the first case, if a judge must decide whether he is guilty or not then we will be waiting a very long time as it is not going to court.

Honestly I think if she was lying about the whole thing then we would have seen some sort of public refutation of these allegations. Instead there is a super-injunction which says it all really.
