No pattern of play, no philosophy, completly reliant on mistakes or players doing individual pieces of skill to score goals - lose one or two of those players and whole thing falls apart. Out dated philosophy put in its place by a modern coach with a well drilled team with no genuine superstars.

We saw the right manager for Spurs tonight and his first name begins in J but doesn't end in e.

Gonna be more difficult than people think to turn this around. Just because we’ve played better in the last 20 minutes shouldn’t deceive you that we were anything than poor for the rest of the game.

Yes it’s going to be difficult but not impossible as I thought we were out against Ajax last season but there you go

1-0 down at HT.
The way we went at them in the last minutes will make the Germans worried.
We won't give up. We did not create chances tonight but we will at their gaff.
2-1 win.

It isn't bad result, we aren't out of stamina after not participating in this game for 70 minutes, next we beat Chelsea as we have more time to rest and then we throw Lipsk out of CL. Decent management, onwards! Ref was good tbh. Confident we can do it in Germany.

All in all it's a shame we couldn't score. Davies gave them an absolute gift being in no mans land for that foul and we looked busy and buzzy at times against a clearly really good team.

We are still in it but it'll be very tough now. Since the Son injury news I've seen the Champions League as a bit of a free hit so knowing we are still in the tie is sound viewing for me.

If we play like that for the rest of the reason, based on who our opposition will be moving forward I think we'll get top 4/5. We didn't score but we didn't look like we couldn't. Encouraged based on the circumstances.

Good finish to the game for us, just like the Liverpool game. Jose said after that one that we can't press for the full game as we would die out way too early. RBL pressed well at the beginning but they couldn't keep that up for the full game.

Hugo made some massive saves. Sanchez was outstanding. Winks played well, still having to do a DM role without being a DM himself. Gio was everywhere and Shark Eyes played really well even though he was LWB.

Alli covered more ground than any of our players even though he got subbed off. He got into some good positions in the box a couple of times too. He was pissed off even 20/30 mins after which is a good sign. Do people want him laughing and joking on the bench like Woolwich players when they lost 10-2 to Bayern?

RBL are a decent team but we've beaten a lot better teams. We'll go through to the next round.

Who said play the kids next season?
Are people genuinely looking at the state of this season and thinking we can fight on three fronts?
PL top 4 and FA cup would be absolute delerium.
And plebs want to risk that by running ourselves ragged in Germany, maybe squeezing through......somehow........so we can go and play two more games and get our arses handed to us by Real Madrid

Oh yeah
You're right...let's go out of all the cups early and aim for mid table obscurity so no one gets too tired...

We didn't have a target man tonight and it showed. Not impressed by any means by this Red Bull side (I know it's not their official name, but they are what they are).

We need to play 90 mins of good football in Leipzig if we really want to have any chance of qualifying.
If we don’t have a target man, why are we playing long ball? Why did it not affect us for the last 20 mins when we imposed ourselves upon them and played higher up the pitch? We didn’t lose this game because Kane and Son were out.

Just because the comms can't stop fucking talking about him (because he is British) doesn't make it true. Decent performance against no striker, nothing more.

19 years old. First start in a Champions League game. Ridiculous range of passing. Reading of the game was excellent and dealt with us comfortably.

We beat Man City without a striker. It's no excuse.

To think, he can't even get a start over their usual centre backs, who will be back for the second leg.
