We didn't bottle it.

We came from 2-0 down away from home and then lost to a team that have been in 2 of the last 3 finals and have won their domestic title for the past 6 or so years.

We will learn from it.

Gutted....their experience paid off in the end, but I'm proud of the lads.
We didn't sell out even with 1-0 lead, no busses and the respect they had for us was pretty telling.
We can call it lapses in concentration but so what, isn't every goal from a defensive point of view.

Glad I stayed out the thread during the game judging by one or two comments I've had the misfortune to read.

That's football, and if getting knocked out by Juve is this gutting, it shows just what kind of team we are.

Full strength in the FA Cup now please.

COYS

What? Complete bottle jobs again, again, again
You serious? Son really BOTTLED being stamped on... what was he supposed to do in retaliation, stab the Cunt?
Maybe we should be spiking THEIR lasagne with shit... then there's nothing to bottle.

The media are fucking LOVING this... we've written their headlines for them.

Fuck that
I hope we rip the SHIT out of Bournemouth on Sunday... couldn't care less that Defoe played for us... fuck that. NO MERCY... cos no Cunt shows US any!

Dominating a team and losing is a paradox.

We just have to recognise progress comes in small steps.

Way too many on here were getting carried away.

Na sorry we where by far the better team in both ties bar 15 minutes where they scored 4 soft goals. Obviously we are still learning but it hurts to lose in such a way as that. Should of been 4-0 up before they even had a shot on target

How have we been knocked out by this wanky cuntery. A 3 minute spell of climbing up our own arse, has negated about 130 minutes of superior football against one of Europe's elite. Let's do it again next year. The only thing this beautiful team lacks, (that, don't forget, beat Real and Dortmund over 2 legs, and dominated a second half against last year's finalists) is experience. That 3 minutes that cost us the game doesn't happen to the sides that battle every year in this competition. Let us not easily forget the cold Thursday nights at The Lane, playing against FC Carrier Bag in the Failopa League. It takes time to build a side that can snatch the most coveted of prizes from the self-entitled. We will continue to learn. We will continue to push and fight, and we will do it. We will do it the right way. The Spurs way. The way that no oil money can buy. The way that can only be fought for with daring and doing, and daring and doing, and daring until we do it. We will fight again. We will be victorious in the end.

On the bright side, Spurs weren’t going to win this competition anyway, so now they can focus on top 4 and the FA cup.

Little chance for Liverpool or United to avoid the big boys next round.
