Levy wouldn't allow Conte to bring his own team in at the expense of those already at the club, ergo he values his own judgement over the serial winner, pretty simple working o

Who's the so-called crack team? Or are you just being facetious.......?

I didn't take it to mean Paratici, Hitchens & Co..... More the coaches... Much like Poch brought Jesus and co.

I think that story is just a face-saving smokescreen for the simple fact that Levy wasn't prepared to grant his no doubt savage trf kitty assurances..... If it has any semblance of legitimacy to it; it certainly wasn't a sole deal-breaker.

You're the one who mentioned £200m, I don't believe that figure has ever been specifically quoted anywhere, all I said was reasonable backing.

Yep... I know that but look at the guy's track record in the last few jobs...... As soon the the big spend isn't there he's off.... 200m would be a fair ballpark figure given the spending levels whilst he was at these clubs.

I don't care if he'd have walked after one season, Nuno won't be here more than that, probably much less I'd wager if I were a betting man, so we might as well have had a decent shot at making it a successful one.

Well it's not for me to tell you what to want..... I was simply responding to the 'why and wherefore' of why it was not realistically going to happen and that it's really pointless for fans to cling to it as a 'what might have been'.

Got in around 20 mins ago. Between 11.45am and 16.30am I had a great day. After that it went to shit.
Good to meet Rocket Rocket Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman Shades Shades and 1882 1882 as always. Met up with several old mates which was brilliant.
Just a shame some prick ruined it all by putting a football match on.
I got held up on the way in so only arrived with about 15 minutes to go and couldn't make it all the way round through the throng to say hello, I was in the opposite corner to where you all were. Caught up with Mrs P afterwards for a 10 minute chat.
Sorry I missed you.

Lets be honest. Does any tottenham supporter give a fuck joshua is avoiding fury again and fighting another mediocre opponent at our stadium? All we ask levy is we play good football and win a trophy now and again. Its time for him to move on. High ticket prices and served with shit is not acceptable.

I just hope this forum can be a catalyst to Enic out

I'm not sure because I know Flav Flav is Tottenham till I die. @case is benign.

The rest just like the podcast too.

Butt fuck me.

This is as bad as the Ramon Vega sugar Francis years.

So sad because we were so close.

First game v city....brilliant. Wolves away....lucky to win. Watford...average but got over line with win. Palace away...shit. Rennes...disjointed....Chelsea...disasterclass. Not going well atm nuno. Oh and we lost to a bottle of win team in portugal.

Everyone has had international break and he was appointed end of June. Plenty of time to get his feet under the table. Plus his been in the PL now for 3 years so should know most of the players and about their strength and weaknesses. It’s not like his come from abroad. People keep making BS excuses.

Can't be bothered to read through 112 pages - 90 of which will be blaming Levy, Winks, Enic and probably Harry Redknapp for saying he thought managing your country was the pinnacle of management.

Positives for me were the performance of Romero, who nullified Lukaku, and Casino Royale, who got better and more assured as the game went on.
Dier was also pretty solid although both let Silva get his header in for the first.
Hojberg was solid as ever and was supported by an animated and active Deli.
Son was also very active and our best threat, although often ignored for runs he started to make, only to have his energy wasted

I'm on the verge of giving up on LoCelso, who contributes little of value on the creative side, and seemed to be the first o throw the towel in. N'Dombele put a good shift in in the first half but couldn't keep it up as his fitness let him down.

Regie seems to be a real issue, he doesn't seem able to defend, and he makes poor decisions in attack.

I can only remember Kane winning one header, mostly because he didn't jump, and although he did help with the press in the first half, he seemed to be playing entirely in 2nd gear, he has never been more droppable IMHO

The key point in the game was bringing Kante on, he stepped them up a gear and they just became a lot better.

That's the crux of it. Their money buys them a better tier of players

Trouble is if he goes who would was the job.
He looked a concerned coach end of game. We look disjointed and lack creativity. We keep fucking about every summer in transfers and that rubs off on team. Just get transfers done early or do agreements before previous season ends. Alli was back to his brilliantly crap best today. Shocking display by team. Let kane go. Need to buy 2 strikers in january and traore. Flog ndombele to ajax..nice and slow for him over there. Need energy in team. Alli has wasted his talent. Let him go.

So frustrating Ndombele our best player first half , then runs out of gas

Play him and be OK for 45 mins but condone being unfit
Leave him out and be shit for 90 mins but can say we are taking a stand

I will settle for a good 45 out of 90 but not happy about it, totally unprofessional, but the lesser of two evils
