Anyone surprised by this turn of form hasn't been paying attention to our underlying numbers all season. We were overachieving massively and opposition teams had no idea how to deal with us for the first 2 months, now - they've all caught on.

This is where we will get to know whether or not the manager and players actually have what it takes.

Shouldn't forget that Palace are also having that new manager bounce. They're organised and playing with determination. Think we would be winning comfortably if they were still being sent out by Hodgson.

What’s concerning is that the players are demonstrating the exact opposite of what Ange professes to coach.

We’re slow, timid and static when we should be fast, direct and brave.

Why aren’t the players shooting? They should get used to the rhythm of constantly attacking the goal. Instead they’re trying to create a perfect opportunity.
I wonder if the players would be quicker to get back into gear if their pay was based off their performance.

Exactly. Exactly. This is what our future looks like.

And before the MeLtInG crew get giddy at the prospect of virtue-hounding everyone who's using their eyes to actually see how shit this is, for not backing it, if we win:

We ALL want us to win, but this is fucking rubbish.

And Ange has had 2 weeks to sort s couple of simple things out.

Anyway, second half... let's see what he's said in the changing room.

OK 2nd half, can we please remember how to win a match again please?

In seriousness though, this really shows what injuries to players in form can do, they seldom pick up where they left off, I guarantee Richy struggles to score again when he comes back. Madders comes to mind here, IMO he just doesn't look the same.

It's a phenomenon we see all too often at this club.

That drop off coincides with the Chelsea game. Anything happen there that might be a factor?
