Because it’s so hard to play against 11 behind the ball when they are that deep. It’s even hard to find any space to get a shot away. I still think we should be taking a shot every time there’s even a hint of a chance just to try get the crowd excited. If any of those palace players go home tonight and say they enjoyed that then they should retire. They’d get football stopped.
Here is something else that needs to be said. I don’t melt but I’m fully behind melters as long as what they melt over is the team not playing like champions.

What I will say is pretty much every team comes and sits in against us. First part of that is respect but the second part is good quick players can counter you and hurt you. Palace don’t have that and can’t hurt you.
I know we carry on a lot about early season form, but teams that come to us with a low block has been an issue since the get go. Sheffield United and 9 man Liverpool prime examples. During that run our best performances were clearly away from home. We need more quality at the pointy end. I dont even think we've been "found out", thats just football, inferior teams set up a certain way and dont give away much, we need to be clinical with our early game chances even when we look slightly off. If we dont we are depending on running teams into the ground, which we've done numerous times but thats the hard way.
My concern is that he doesn’t look like the sort of player we need.
I didn’t watch much, if any, of him at Forest, but he looks like a typical pacy winger that can run behind a defense. That’s not what we need with Ange.
I appreciate we’re buying potential, but his game is based on pace when what we’re desperate for is guile.
