Just getting over one myself. Must have picked it up at the ground I think. Hope you're well enough to get along to the match.

Based on recent performances and team news, we are clear favorites to win and here’s why:

  • Strong Home Form: We have won our last six home games in all competitions, including a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa in our most recent Premier League match.
  • Ipswich's Struggles: Ipswich are winless in the Premier League this season, with five draws and five losses. They've also conceded a lot of goals, making them vulnerable defensively
  • Injury Concerns: While we have some injury concerns, including Richarlison and Micky van de Ven, we still have enough depth to field a strong lineup.
  • Head-to-Head Record: Although Ipswich have won their last three meetings against us, those matches were over two decades ago, and our current form suggests a different outcome this time.
Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Ipswich Town. Our attacking prowess should be too much for Ipswich to handle, especially at home.

Thoughts on Muric?

I remember him being absolutely terrible on the ball. And think we may get alot of joy pressing him.
Muric is obvious new in this summer. And is still settling. He was harshly made number two last season by Kompany having gotten Burnley promoted, but won his place back for the last 10ish games. A couple of well publicised errors then.

Jury out a little for a town fans in relation to Muric. There have been errors, probably cost us a point at Brentford. And as you say he can be pressed, and is a little slow with his feet. BUT his distribution can be very good, he can be commanding for crosses, and he has already delivered several world class saves… his double save at Brighton was amazing and earnt us a point.

Am sure you’ll have some joy against him. And as stated I can’t see past a Spurs win. If Town’s depleted team all turn up - we’ll give you a good test and may score. As said watch out for Delap and Hutchinson… real young quality. Albeit he may play Hirst to start over Delap due to superior hold up play.

Comfortable win, Think Ipswich might score against our second choice centre back pairing of Dragusin/Davies, would like to see Porro rested as I think he looked dead on his feet against Galatasaray and Spence (if fit?) needs a run-out. Back 4...Spence/Dragusin/Davies/Udogie.

3-1.
