Iraola or poch for me. Poch unlikely as with usa. Iraola for me.
My Christmas wish list…
Sell a stake to Staveley and her consortium.
Get their investment funds.
Sack Ange and hire Iraola. Get him to bring Semenyo with him.
Get rid of all our coaches including Mason, we have no reason to be ‘that’ loyal to him, he was a Hull player when injured.
Ensure our new coaching team includes speciality defensive, set piece and attacking coaches.
The players needing replacing are obvious to everybody, no need to list the,.

100% and many of us did call out the window.
It was obvious that Solanke as the only first team addition was woefully short.

But we were assured by the mouth breathers on here that the likes of Bergvall, Gray and Moore could step straight in.

They should have been loaned out and 2-3 more players brought on clear as day.
Squad is fine- Ange is just a really naive and stubborn coach. We keep losing in the same, very easily remedied way.

Well, the ice dancing princesses all heard the Joanie call to muster and they arrived obediently.

Our squad is fine- quite good actually.

If we had a tactically astute manager we'd be in 3rd or 4th right now- other teams results notwithstanding.
Pal, if I'm Pep/Slot/Arteta/Maresca, honestly I don't take any of Spurs' starting 11 to start at my club. Maybe VdV and Solanke at a stretch, but that's it. And I'm going nowhere near most of them for a seat on my bench...maybe Sonny, Roddy, Sarr but that's it.

Now how many players from City/Pool/Woolwich or Chelsea would walk into our starting 11 or matchday squad?

Again, I don't really understand this argument. Is it because we don't take high-risk financial decisions?

It's because we'll never "go for it", and because they always know we'll sell rather than spend.

Levy doesn't even have the guts to criticize the league for the shit refereeing we routinely get. The whole club has a pussified approach that casts a slowly emasculating poison over everything. This is also why it's so critical for us to turn over our squad aggressively- we constantly need new optimistic blood brought in-house to combat our cultural malaise.

Pretty much what we're saying with my band here. Can't recall many Spurs squads I've disliked as much as I do this one. They're footballistically so poor, that's one thing. But so many of them are just unlikable as people. Very hard to identify with them, and it ain't just a generational thing...got a few 20yo at the gaff this pm, friends' kids, and they're saying the same.
I'm curious as to why you feel this way, J. I have the same impression of the squad, which I think stems from perceiving their motivations as selfish (a handful of players aside) and having little interest in the history of the club. A lot of #wegoagain posturing and all very cosy.

100% this. They're fucking kids. I like all three but they all need game time against men. Hope to god Levy backs Ange or whoever in the January Window. Or at least play fucking Spence and give someone a rest. Its completely insane whats going on
