TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Liverpool

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'd definitely put Chelsea and Man City above us, and Man U. None of these other joke outfits you're mentioning. We are about on a level with Woolwich and Liverpool right now, but our trajectory is up, their's is down.
Villa! Have a word with yourself

But neither Chelsea or Man City could fill Wembley so it’s difficult. City can’t even sell out their own ground, but yes, they’ve both got a lot of money.

Some of the responses are gold, look at this asshat...

Lol... Gotta love it... VVD still a Soton player last time i checked.

Problem with these nouveau clubs is that historically smaller tight knit fanbase. Then the attraction of plastic fans all over the world after they gain riches/bought success.
I know a guy at work whose brother is a City ST holder (he's originally from Chester) and has been for I guess about 30 years, bad times and all that. He said he's been seriously considering jacking the ST in the last couple seasons, just seems a bit hollow and plastic. Soulless.

Whether he actually would or not who knows, but I can kinda see where he's coming from.

Rather be a mid-sized team punching above our weight, which is what I see us as.
A mid sized team punching above our weight !!!!.
Fuck right off.. We have a global fan base, supporters clubs all over the country, attract crowds of 70,000 and more at a neutral venue, one of the richest clubs in Europe, about to move into the best stadium in Europe (allegedly). ...We ain't no mid size team punching above our weight. We are fucking massive and have finally got back to the level we truly belong mate. In short, We are Spurs.

Liverpool fans as individuals are okay, decent fans.

As a collective though? Cunts, absolute cunts.

Man United fans are the same.

I hope we smash them on Sunday, really give Klopp something to turn about whilst Poch acts with calm and class on the sidelines.

COYS!!!!

Like I said mate depends how you calculate it. I'm obviously not saying Villa have a better side, more money, better prospects or more likes on Facebook. What I'm saying is they probably have a vaguely similar amount of people who follow them through thick and thin as we do, as do Everton. Plus their trophy haul over the years is comparable.

It's the sad truth but lots of the people you now see at Wembley would not be there if we'd been utter shite for ten years then got relegated to the Championship. Look at how easy it was to get a season ticket back in the 90s. By the same token if Villa were in the CL playing against Real Madrid I reckon they'd sell their out their ground twice over, as would Everton. Maybe I'm wrong but it's how I see it (I have no fondness for either of those sides).

And if all traffic lights had strippers on them the world would be a different place. The world is what it is and we are not comparable to Villa, or you might as well chuck in Leeds, Wednesday, Newcastle, Sunderland, Cardiff, Luton etc.
