You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?

On another note. Why hasn't tonight's game between Vitesse and Mura not been postponed?
If that game goes ahead and Vitesse win, and the Spurs v Rennes is rearranged for a future date; then Spurs will have the advantage of knowing how many goals they need to win by to qualify.
Or mura win and we can just send the kids out :contekiss:

If, (and it's a big if) this match is rearranged, under current rules it would have to played before 31st December. This is not feasible with the amount of fixtures Spurs have in that time.

One option for UEFA to try and resolve the matter would be to extend the deadline by a week, and play the game on Wednesday 5th Jan. Both Spurs and Rennes have games scheduled for Saturday 8th Jan.
We could tell the premier league to postpone one of our league games to incorporate the european one.

We've been rumbled.

News outlets are reporting it’s off but it isn’t ?

If it’s played , every player should start coughing the moment they walk on the pitch , try to shake the Rennes players hands etc

If we score; run after them for kisses and cuddles instead!

Have you seen us play in this competition?

This from the Guardian:
"It is understood the governing body did not confirm the position on Wednesday night because it had not received written confirmation from Spurs. But it is satisfied after discussions with Tottenham that the game cannot go ahead. A date for the match is being discussed and, under Uefa rules, should be played before the end of the month, although there could be a degree of flexibility."

I think a few more cases like this over the coming weeks and they may well push the close of the EPL season back a few weeks to compensate.

Fuck it, forfeit the game, go out, focus on domestic dominance.
No one in the group can complain as Rennes would stay top, Vitesse would go 2nd and Mura out as they already were.

There's barely any financial incentive to stay in it and have a horrendous fixture pile up. And it's spurs, we'd play 346 games to get to the final then lose.
