This could be really bad for Ange. He needs all 3 points at Brentford because after that it’s United and Brighton away and then West Ham at home who always are up for it. Couple that with League Cup and Europa all in between.
 
Woolwich schooled us. They came to nick a goal from a set piece and then park the bus. Job done, not pretty, but it’s what wins titles. I do worry that Angeball lacks a ‘plan B’. It’s naive at best, perhaps negligent at worst. Groundhog Day for Spurs, again…
 
Odobert and Kulusevski were okay IMO the other forwards were poor.

I can stomach getting beat by a better side or if our players gave their best only to come up short but what I can’t stomach is Ange’s pathetic style of football, clueless defensive work at set pieces and the players ambling around like they don’t have a clue what they should be doing. We look a disjointed mess.

The balance of this team is off. Loads of the ball but because we’re susceptible to breakaways everyone’s so safe on the ball. We almost kill the atmosphere ourselves by just recycling it. Still think Ange is the right man but he needed game changing wide players to make it work. now I think he needs to address the shape of the team.

Think a new keeper is becoming a priority as well

a new keeper..i thought he was voted best in the league last season

bring in even more possession-skilled players so that our ball possession stats can hit 90%???
