Looks like we are stuck with him forever, like the contracts with Nike and AIA!!

grim reaper death GIF
Levy at the top & that horrible red AIA plastered all over our white shirt until the 2040s I bet

I want winning football, I don't care about what form it comes in.
What we are currently playing isn't achieving anything, pass it around side to side, for one of the attacking players who either doesn't get on the end of it or, can't hit the target from a few yards out.
So many players are not in form, defence is a shambles including the keeper who looks poor.
Transfer window was a joke, all based around bringing in low wage earners, not what you would expect from the 8th richest club in world football.

So far our defence has a smaller expected goals than Woolwich’s.

Which coaching genius to you propose is going to make us play more “winning” football with this bunch of players?

LOOOOOOOL

Emery and Howe took over teams FIGHTING RELEGATION. Brighton are a tiny club who lost their entire fucking midfield last season.

Tottenham was 8th when Postecoglou came in. Before that playing turgid football under Conte. The best player and best striker in the world on the way out. Needing a player clear out, which has happened to a degree-only 4 players from Conte's last game also started Postecoglous last game of last year.

Anyway what makes a Big Club? Fan size? Stadium size? Nope. A big club has trophies in their cabinets.

Postecoglou's first season IMO he met or exceeded expectations.

BUT that's in the past. Its from hereon that we learn if he's the right man or not.

Maddison gives it all the chat on interviews/social media yet he's there stroking lego head's head during the game.

They don't get it.

He GETS it.

He often says the big games are "just another game". He knows they are anything but-the guy has managed in arguably one of the biggest derbies in world football, so he understand rivalries. He also often pays respect to the opposition manager. Its a balance between taking pressure off the players but at the same time to not to be complacent and respect the opponent and the challenge.

There are better coaches out there, whether they would want to work for this shit stain of a club under levy, is another matter who would want it to achieve what.
Our keeper coach is not sorting out Vic’s weaknesses, we have no specialist defensive coach, no set piece coach and apparently Ryan Mason is our attacking coach but never mind we are apparently the best run club in the Premiership.

Do we control games . Last 2 games v decent teams who have just sat back, let us control the game, play on the break v the high line.
Expect the same v Brentford who always play like that.
Last season we had Kompany who refused to change, relegated. God knows how he got the Bayern job.
This season we have Russell Martin at Southampton who will be relegated because he won’t change.
Ange needs something to change quickly .
I don't think Newcastle enjoyed 'giving' us the ball. We had them on the ropes at times, and with high pressing they couldn't keep the ball for more than a few seconds. That is not a tactic by opposition teams! If we start scoring lots of goals soon, you think teams are delighted to let us have the ball? Newcastle were lucky as fuck, chances against them I think were better than against scum.
If Maddison had not got booked earlier, he could have instead taken the booking dragging down joelinton before he played the pass. It looks awful because he had all the time to pick the pass. Typical luck that Maddison was closest player to him.

Against the scum, we never got done by balls through or over us, did we? Of course Saka could exploit that brutally, but he was quiet all game.

I get it looks a bit rough at the moment, but 4 games in and you are worrying about relegation?! Seems a tad hysterical!

We are playing better than last season in my opinion, it's more purpose than just keeping the ball and endless sideways passing with barely any chances.
At least we are managing more efforts and 'danger' in the box now.
Unfortunately they are lacking confidence so goals are not coming nicely yet, I think they will pretty soon and your relegation fears will be something you'll laugh about.
At least this season we are going to play more, that's what will be better for us, actual matches not training. Get a win against Coventry a couple of goals and all of a sudden they build confidence for Brentford and it builds etc...🙏🏼

at 13:17 that piece of lego shit has actually picked the ball up when its not fully out of play. how the fuck does he get away with this shit! hes done it before the ref has blown his whistle and assumed a foul is being given. they really need to get hold of his antics in his box. make an example of him.
