I’ve already given you an answer Sammy, nobody got through more ball, completed more passes than him first half, that’s a major part of his remit, and it’s not like he’s Winks or Dier with his passing, he is a progressive passer, so that’s going to be good for us as a team - that’s something we’ve lacked for the last couple of years.

And he’d be able to do that job even better if we had a proper 6 in there, doing more of the donkey work, and doing it better. Or if we played a CM3 even.
Both Dier and Ndombele have settled very positively this half

Aside from Dele, the player who has turned around the most for me is Serge. He's now offering an outlet and creating opportunities when we were all just hoping he wouldn't give up a pen or get a red.
