Levy has done well in financing and building the stadium but he needs to be realistic about the value of players, whether they going out OR coming in. His 'shrewd' style has left us with a bunch of players that don't want to be at Spurs and the few that came in were late in the day, crocked or only on loan - all down to him not wanting to pay fairer prices (that he always asks of other teams).

Yes, football has become a big business, but it's still a game first and foremost. Team sports require intricate management and recruitment, which is not best left in the hands of a chairman whose main objective is profits and shareholders, not the game itself.
