The BSM are a load of champagne socialists in padded seats who are furious that paying for a club membership doesn't guarantee trophies. They pretend to care about normal fans but it is just to hide their annoyance that they didn't chose Man City or Chelsea this season. Wankers.

I'm sure their black scarves are organic fair trade animal welfare cashmere made by persecuted villagers and blessed by the Dalai Lama. All proceeds to schools built by guardian-reading gap year students who 'found themselves' whilst in reality doing work that locals would quite like to be paid for. Cunts.

If there is a group of our fans, that should be together about wanting to reduce ticket prices, I would have thought it would be the youngsters, which is the territory of 1882 and this board in particular.

The Black Scarf movement is a group that complain about rising membership and ticket prices at Woolwich. The only thing is, you have to pay a membership fee to join the Black Scarf Movement..

Oh gawd...

MUST (Manchester United Supporters' Trust), SOS (Spirit of Shankly - Liverpool), and The Black Scarf Movement (Woolwich) and THST met with Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore, to call for lower ticket prices and better conditions for fans of Premier League Teams.

I'll only sign up if they call themselves the Cockerels United Nicholson Trust

Is this like a black armband to mourn the death of their atmosphere.

This sounds weak but the idea someone is fighting for better conditions appeals. I'm 6' 4" and its a madyid to sit in the North Stand and in areas of the East too. The Park Lane lower is the same.

So tight. No wonder I stand.

It does seem a bit ill conceived though.

"As a sign of unity and strength between our organisations, we ask our fans to remain in their seats after Sunday's game for approximately 20 minutes of PEACEFUL protest, aimed not towards Liverpool FC or Tottenham Hotspur FC but at the Premier League and all its' member teams. "

Will there be some sneaking out with 5 minutes left to beat the traffic?

Has madyid become rhyming slang for something?

I'm 6'4 as well and most of the seating i have not been comfortable sitting in. Impossible to sit down straight in most places.
Not sure that's what the protest is for though.

More legroom and better catering services? Sounds more like an airline advert.

Forgot to mention that most of them work in media "yah" and moved to Islington from the Home Counties and have pretended to be a Londoner ever since! Dickheads

Disappointed by some of the responses in this thread. The comments about other supporters groups will be music to the Premier League and it's member club ears because it's exactly what they want - fans refusing to work together because of petty rivalries.

It seems you are damned if you do try and work towards change and damned if you don't but at the end of the day it's very easy to talk about wanting ticket prices cut while not actually doing anything about it.

Possibly one of the funniest comments I've read on here. I'm all cunted out! :harrylol:

From the man who made jokes about Rocastles death and the hillsborough disaster.

Give it up Darren, she won't let you fuck her.

Petty rivalry? I'm not sure I quite agree with that. Look, I'm sure you mean well, but I do think you're over-reacting; if finding comments on a TH forum that are taking the piss out of Woolwich and their plastic aqua-libra fans disappoints you, then I'd hate to think how disappointed you'd be at an actual match. It's banter, it may be OTT, but it isn't really, because they're cunts. FOYR. COYS.

Oh. And your not the only one with a golden folder. Any more anti-Semitic posts about Daniel Levy and you can expect a knock at your front door.
