Aston Villa Vs Sunderland: Player Ratings
Danny Rose - 7

Easily the best player in a red and white shirt, not that he had much competition. Sparked a lovely flowing move for the equaliser and took his goal very well indeed. Brushed off a number of robust Villa challenges and got on with his game. We simply have to keep this lad.
Man of the Match - Danny Rose
A bit of a wooden spoon award given tonight's shocking showing but Rose was his usual industrious self. Short and his team have to move heaven and earth to secure this lad's signature.

If they stump up £6m+ we would be stupid not to take it, can see us splashing out on a LB this Summer which will mean far fewer opportunities for the lad with us.

CRYSTAL Palace have taken former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dean Parrett on trial after he was released from White Hart Lane, Advertiser Sport understands. The 21-year-old creative star played the full 90 minutes for the Eagles' U21 team in their 1-0 defeat to Bolton Wanderers' U21s at Selhurst Park last night.During his early career so far, Parrett has represented England at U16, U17, U19 and U20 level, and he has even experienced European football but struggled to break into the starting XI on a regular basis at Spurs.
A Palace source told Advertiser Sport: "Dean has come into train with us since last Thursday after his release from Tottenham"."He's come in on trial and he played well last night. We're keen to have a longer look at him in the next couple of reserve games."

We have home advantage in the u21 semi final - provisional date May 11th - so maybe WHL or Brisbane Road ?

Maybe the 1882 movement want another bit of fun - or wait for finals provisionally on May 18th.

If we get through to the u18's semi final we will be away to the u 18 Elite Group winners
Well up for this

Parrett released? I'd have thought he'd at very least have fetched a fee.

He looked very good playing out of position as a striker in some of the U21 league highlights throughout this season.

His contract was up. Bostock will be next as Parrett was the better of the two throughout his time with Spurs youth. This might mean we give Mason another chance.

has parrett gone to charlton? read somewhere he was going but cant not see anything official.

Being of the same age as Dean Parret, and having a few friends that were decent footballers back then. When we signed Dean Parret as a 15 year old, all the people i knew that knew him were shocked we actually paid money to sign him, and that they didnt think he'd make it.
