Match We can be heroes part two Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester united UEFA Cup final. Bilbao 21st May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I honestly thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest in injury time. I could hear it thudding. Was unbearable.

Exactly, I've had some cardio issues since I was last on here (2017 - and admittedly interacting with John Thomas and Arcspace wasn't exactly something that I felt was helping at the time) so I have the tracker for just keeping an eye on my levels. It was bittersweet to feel a bit nauseous at full time and yet so relieved and happy. The dull weather we've had today makes me think we've managed to piss off nature by winning, too.

Obvious if we'd given united a tonking then perhaps we'd have had a more enjoyable last 20 mins, but then the drama of 11-behind-the-ball is so befitting our journey as a club. If we'd have walked the final then there'd almost have been a sense of undervaluing our achievement by giving the impression we had an easy opponent.

Now talking about European Trophies ...... The Inter Cities Fairs Cup in 1970 ...... just about scrapes past the european trophy 'sniff test' but its about one step above an Audi Trophy or Peace Trophy ...... but only just

And the Cup Winners Cup in 1994 ......... and ooh look that's it, nothing more.

VERSUS

2 x UEFA Cup (now renamed the UEFA European League) in 1972 and 1984
1 x UEFA European League 2025
1 x Cup Winners Cup in 1963.

I count 4 European Trophies verses may 2 European Trophies

So which club has won most in Europe out of Tottenham and Woolwich ?
Dude, fuck em, don't give them even a thought today, this is our win!

Watching that game back a couple times since. I can't believe how easy the clean sheet actually was. Didn't feel that way in the moment of course... But apart from that Fernandes header after they made a couple changes and the Vicario save near the end. They couldn't lay a glove on us. The most comfortable clean sheet you'll ever see in a major final..
I'll take your word for that, I spent most of the second half looking at the ground. I did see Micky clear off the line in spectacular fashion though, probably the highlight of the game.
