Only watched highlights, but talk about a game of two halves. Out of the two, I'm glad that Luton won, mainly because I haven't forgotten 1987, and secondly I think Luton's rise back to PL from non league is a great achievement.

Maybe she is telling Porkies, as being a Londoner, Luton was never on my radar as a place socialise, so I never experienced the heyday

Was talking to my son last night, due to our area we live / league played football in a lot of lads his age were on Luton’s books growing up.
Most released over time. But the ones who made it to professional are now premier league academy footballers on paper.
Quite a jump up from competing with stevenage and MK dons for players. Imagine everyone will want to get on Luton’s books now.
Even has one of their coaches come and do a talk / session!
That’s not going to happen anymore I imagine.
