but who does he answer too ? not us only to share holders so Him & Joe Lewis family and they are Billionaires so losing £30/50 m at this club next season isn't a problem to then
I don't know if he answers to anybody. I guess the real danger is if he screws up so bad he actually damages the value of the business. I guess in that sense he might only answer to his own numbers, and god knows how that might go...

So far he's waaay overstayed his welcome, but surely....surely.....when we lose on Thursday or the next europa game (if we're lucky), he'll be gone. In agreement that it boggles the mind - out of all the managers he could of chosen to stick with through thick and thin, he chose the Aussie journeyman over two big time trophy magnets in Jose and Conte!!!
It makes the Jose sacking days before a final even more bizarre.

Of all the managers we could have chosen to stick by through thick and thin....and Levy chooses Ange......

Sacked Jose 6 days before a final but you can't get rid of a fucking fraud who's 15th in the table and arguably the worst manager in our history. The state of this fucking club.
That's precisely the reason why he has stayed.
He took criticism sacking a manager before a final. He didn't want the same criticism and being seen as not learning from his lessons by sacking Ange before the league Cup semi finals and the EL.

Irony is that sacking the manager this time would have given us a better chance. And keeping mourinho would have given us a better chance. He's made the wrong decision twice.

Anyone who goes to liverpool away in two weeks really is a hardcore fan.

Playing out the back is a legit dondo the problem is our players aren't sharp &/or trained well enough to pull it off.
You choose your moments to do it which aren’t when you’re pinned by the corner flag with several opposing players bearing down on you!

There are several times we’ve tried it in suicidal positions when clearing the lines was the right thing to do!

Ne
Yeah, he's always been a 5-10 goals a season player. One season above the norm and we shell out £55m - the very opposite of a competent transfer strategy.
ver wanted him not for that amount. We got our pants pulled in last ditch transfer as we failed all summer to go out and find a quality striker from the 7B people on this planet. Ange can dress it up how he wants that he was our main target BS. Guy never went to euros so was available to sign or prepare signing as soon as season ended.

After Levys statement, no European football and a 16th/17th place prem finish i'm starting to think Gomes, David and Dibling, along with a left back would be about as good as its going to get this summer.
I'd be amazed if our summer window even looks that good, the only one of those 3 I have some minor question marks about is Gomes and his ability to adapt to the physicality of the PL as a 6 but he looked very good at international level, I think personally Cardoso is more likely to join than David who I think will end up at a CL club, there are noises about Inter Milan and Barcelona were interested so it's very unlikely, should have done a deal at a cut price fee last summer, certainly think he would have contributed more than Solanke but for whatever reason seems a fair number on here don't fancy him despite consistently banging them in at Lille, finally we saw this season his ability to translate that to elite competition with 9 goals and 4 assists in 14 matches in the CL but unfortunately that means the cat is out of the bag and we will be trying to dine at a table we can't afford to be at.

Read two separate reports from Spain that Johnny has been checking the PL table.
Joke club (my comment not Johnny)

Just rewatched MOTD2

Romero and Vicario should both be dropped for Thursday

Both abysmal yesterday!

No one stood out though and TeL clearly doesn’t believe in tracking back and helping out his defence

But never mind according to Ange we played well apart from a few individual errors!
