Steve:

Your definition of phobia goes right over my head and with good reason - it’s utter nonsense ! If a word offends it doesn’t make it homophobic- it’s merely a word that “some people” are offended by and usually they themselves are not even gay.

Many gays are not even offended by the terms dyke or queer; I know this for a fact. I’ve no problem with you thinking I post inappropriately and in your view offensively, but using lazy throw away epithets is merely lazy neo liberalist political correct dogma at its predictable worst!

Where have I been racist?
Where have I been anti Semitic?
Where indeed have I been homophobic?

You can’t even define homophobia- just as most people can’t because they’d rather very lazily invent a definition [they]themselves are comfortable with!

If you had an iota of comprehension you would have noticed that I said you used homophobic terms.

By your reasoning it is ok for me to use the " N" word as that is all it is, a word.
And just because only "some people" find it offensive that makes it acceptable.

Complete and utter bollocks.

Are you sure you don’t post on our Dulwich hamlet board? I was socialising with and partying with homosexual men and women before the term LGBT was ever penned. I’m not gay or homosexual nor am I fearful of them but I won’t suffer the politicalisation of sexuality pushed by the neo/ liberalists agenda wherever they are found. Fuck em !

The ol' "I have gay/black friends" chestnut. :pochunimpressed:

People around me - mostly young black people - some white - indeed use the word nigger very often among one another; but no - they won’t use it around me because I don’t accept the claim that owning a term somehow changes it’s meaning - I’m not an American - I’m English; and the only time I ever went to-gaol for a stint was directly because I reacted to that term being used.

But that’s neither here nor there; as I said - it is the neo-liberals - the thought police of today - the commanders of broad sheet media journalism and broadcast journalism that throw away the real definition of words and invent for its followers a new version of word terminology - hence for you “ minge muncher” makes me homophobic - well you are very wrong!

Neo-liberals are pretty much the opposite of thought police, they are people who believe in complete deregulation and a high level of personal freedom. I guess you mean something else.

So, to you, it's acceptable to use the term minge munchers but it's not acceptable for someone to call you the "N" word.
Hypocrisy of the highest order.

Again your comprehension is lacking. I never called you homophobic, I said you used unacceptable homophobic terms.

If you are going to play at being the intellectual, I suggest you brush up on your reading skills.

I’m close to resting my case right here with this post. Please note I said - as indeed you said also: Neo- liberals.

I didn’t say liberals.

As I said - it’s about what words mean rather than what people percieve that they mean 👍

Just a question - not particularly connected to this thread (although I've seen a couple of female footballers spitting)...

I've often wondered why footballers spit and tennis players don't. They both expend energy in a similar way (tennis players probably use more energy). Anyone got a theory?

Not saying I'm offended or anythig - just can't explain it.

By the way: you, having posted a reply -a request even - requesting that I receive a very long term ban have yet to show me where I have been either:

1. Racist
2. Anti Semitic
Or indeed
3. Homophobic

You fear words because you find their definitions complicated - hence the N-word... rather than writing the word - do me a favour mate!

“ unacceptable language” was only added hence old chap!

Oh dear, I'll say it once more.
I never called you any of those things.
Quote me where I did.

As for being afraid or words ? Well "pre-Maradonna" springs to mind.
:dembelelol: :dembelelol::dembelelol:

I will call for anyone to be banned who uses racist/homphobic terms.

For a spelling-nazi, he's the biggest shambles I've ever seen!

Different concentration of running, rest breaks and fluid intakes....

(At a complete guess...)
