FA CUP 91
League Cup wins 01/08
Lucas Hat Trick against Ajax
Qualifying for the CL for the first time in 2009 and then the CL run the following season.
Redknapp and Poch era was great as well.

Starting going in 1976, didn't miss a domestic game between 1987-1995.

There were good times over the years, even if we lost regularly, the days when we were real poor.
We had some fun on Away days, sit or stand with who you liked at most games.
Had some good times in the Paxton, then in the cage in the Shelf.

Favourite game : 1984 Uefa Cup Final 2nd Leg at The Lane.
Favourite time : probably the 1991 FA Cup run.

It's shit now and i don't go anymore, even though i'm still local.
Support has massively changed in recent times(for the worse), and that prick is still running the club.
Plus, don't get me started on poxy digital tickets.

I hate despise the scum now more than i love us, and that's not right.
Hate Levy more than the stamford bridge mob. :wall:

Important to remember it was 2-1 as, annoyingly, Rooney scored the last ever goal at the Lane. Likely to be a pub quiz one day.

Not sure where you work, but most of the world was still in lockdown in Oct 2020
In logistics so covid had no impact. We still had to go in to keep tge supply chain going.

If i was to pick an era it would be under venables. Joined us when we were on pur knees but got better each season to eventually winning the cup in 91. We were a good side then. Shame really it got toxic with venables/sugar at the end. But before that was a good era.

The 60's- When my Grandad used to take me to WHL, all standing crowd and we were winning just about everything, still remember that buzz.

Virtually the same here

61-67 topped off with beating those jumped up Chavs in the FA Cup final

Loved going to school the following week as there were plenty of them and I had some fun!🤩

Yes, I’d go along with that. Getting relegated at the end of the 76-77 was at first a ball breaker. I remember standing on the pitch, with God knows how many hundred others, after the final whistle at the last game of the season against Leicester. The Spurs players eventually came out and stood on the west stand applauding the fans. I remember thinking WTF am I doing here we just got relegated.

The following season in the second division was an absolute ball. Went to pretty much every game home and away. Then 78, after scraping promotion, and Ossie and Ricky joining, Hoddle coming into his pomp, it was just a great time. And a great time to be a match going fan. Loved it.

Don't go back far enough for any truly good days. In the 21st century, supporting Spurs has never been as fun as the Redknapp years.

Results might say the peak was Poch era, and maybe that Madrid final. But peak enjoyment was "Taxi for Maicon". Champions League and we're having a laugh. Downhill ever since - now we think it's a base requirement, and we never laugh.

Gooners were throwing blow-up dolls about in the Park Lane.
Quite funny thinking back.
The '87 League Cup Semi Final replay must have been the most gutted i've ever been after a game.
Think the time i was really gutted when chelsea won the CL in 2012 and we missed out on CL for the next season. Was a really shit rule that. Slogged it out all season and finished 4th. Glad uefa addressed that ridiculous rule. Also glad they ditched finishing third in CL group you go in europa league last 32. Terrible rule. If youre out you should be out.

I'd swap modern possession football and the sanitised/gentrified match day 'experience' in an absolute heartbeat.

Many good memories of staying in a London hotel as a kid with my late father on a Friday night, before the game at WHL on the Saturday.

One particular memory of walking across Wembley Way en route to the ‘81 FA Cup Final, and getting treated to a single of ‘Ossie’s Dream’ (currently sat on the shelf above my head as I’m typing this).

Also watching Raiders of the Lost Ark in Leicester Square before a game at the start of the 1981 season.

Think pleat had to resign as he got caught by press kerb crawling. How embarrassing. Think shreeves took over and didnt work out. Then venables came in.

He was well known to Luton Plod for picking up prostitutes and taking them to the railway car park.

He was well known to the girls too!

Nothing kinky apparently but not something you want from your manager!

1989-91 is in many ways my favourite period. Most grounds still had terracing, we were good fun to watch, it was the start of my career as a match-going fan, we had the most exciting player in the UK in Gazza, and we won a major trophy when the FA Cup was truly one of the pinnacle trophies.

I loved watching us under Harry and of course the Poch era, last season at WHL and run to the CL Final were special, but I think if I was to relive one period it would be 1989-91.

Redknapp era was just ridiculously fun.

Breaking into the elite, seeing world class footballers blossoming in front of our eyes. Incredible memories and moments from beating Woolwich, Chelsea and City in a 3 week period to qualify for CL. To going to the San Siro and winning

Before football took itself too seriously. Imagine moaning about someone like van der Vaart not tracking back to defend instead of just appreciating the art he conjured up.
