First memory is Spurs was around 91 with the cup final so started with a bang just in time for the mid 90’s.

In truth the only time I have really hated it has been when we have had negative/defensive managers.

In terms of just pure football fun the Redknapp season and the season under Poch we finished second where fantastic, felt like we could beat anyone and the football was class.

Yes I know the periods when we were Winning things, aye right ……..I mean the season(s) when you look back on the fondest for different reasons now obviously the older you are the more you’ve to choose from and some may go as far back as the 60s, definitely the early 80s but success has been sporadic to say the least what the majority of us have are seasons that for us were success, European qualification, a cup final etc…… but my fondest or should I say memorable to look back as for me anyway was 93-95 …..we had this kit

we had these guys …..

Sugar as chairman well perhaps not the greatest…….from a football point view exciting we had the Romanians , Anderton, Barmby, Rocket Ronny beating Liverpool in the cup good times…….I’m picking this period as I’d kinda drifted away from football as a main interest other things in my life had taken over , some not for the better ………..posts for the Off Topic pages me thinks! but my interest in Tottenham was back with a vengeance and it’s never left since…

Funny - same for me. 94/95 was my first season as a football and Spurs fan. I didn't enjoy it before then. I got a bit swept up in the 94 WC as I was away with my school at the time. Then Spurs signed a WC winning player and it was all over the papers. My family are all Spurs fans so it made a lot of sense they'd be my team.
And in 1994, even though we'd had a couple of bad seasons, we were still the 3rd of 4th most successful team in English history and at that time, still a frequent winner of cups.
94/95 was a proper rollercoaster of a season and tbh, I don't think I've ever felt quite the same as I did that year. I still have my Klinsmann 18 shirt at home at the back of the wardrobe.

Why the hell I didn't just glory hunt like all the other pricks in my school I'll never know. So many of them were United and Liverpool fans. In Essex. Even had some bloody Blackburn fans ffs. Jokes on them though I guess?

Only a relative youngster (32), but that whole Champions League run to the final... the utter despair to total ecstasy of the Sterling offside goal, the Lucas Moura moment, the three weeks after that game floating on air until the final (less said about that the better). Never felt so connected to a team of genuinely good players and good blokes, a manager, and a feeling that we could actually achieve something special for the first time in my lifetime.

Ah well, was good while it lasted.

I’m only 30, so I haven’t seen “glory” (apart from the Carling Cup in ‘08)

The Martin Jol and Redknapp years were enjoyable, and so was Poch.

Hopefully when Angeball really gets going that will be up there too

The late 1950's/early to mid 1960's - and then our more recent CL run. Shame about the final, but it is what it is.

We never won anything but 86/87 was easily my favourite Tottenham team to watch. Mabbutt and Gough as centre backs were brilliant. Hoddle was incredible that season. Waddle was exciting to watch. Ardiles still class. Paul Allen who was one of my favourites and he was so underrated was always a 7/8 out of 10. Claesen was another who didn’t start every week but was always great when he played. But the top man was King Clive. His finishing and all round play was phenomenal. How he never played more for England I’ll never know. He scored so many different type of goals but he was a predator.

We should’ve beat Woolwich in the semi of the league cup. We were the better team. Finished 3rd in the league but came up short against a top Everton and Liverpool team. The cup final against Coventry still fucking hurts today 🤣

Great team and youngsters integrated into the squad that year as well.

We never won anything but 86/87
Was about to post the same.

The quality of the footie, the 5 man MF that Pleat discovered almost by mistake, Clive's goals, watching almost all the home games standing on the Shelf, I think I was at every FA cup game, smashing Spam 5-0 in LC replay, peak Hoddle and Waddle, Robbo getting a red card while on a stretcher, winning at the Library, I can't remember a boring game andGod knows we've had enough of them in the past few years

How we lost the League game at Coventry I'll never know.
They did seem to have some sort of sign over us for a couple of seasons.

77 to 84.

The 2nd division season, Ardiles and Villa signing, Hoddle in his prime, then Archibald and Crooks, Burkinshaw as manager, loads of homegrown players in the team, winning things, entertaining football, great atmosphere in the ground, hardly ever had to buy tickets in advance and affordable.

The 60's- When my Grandad used to take me to WHL, all standing crowd and we were winning just about everything, still remember that buzz.
