Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What an idiotic post.

Usually love your interventions, man...but Spurs not the only ones having a bad night, eh?!

Did I say I lied about important stuff? Nah. You just assumed & went for the cheap shot cause you're looking for anything to diss me cause I voiced my opinion about a player you love and it didn't fit your narrative.

You wanna call me out on the fact I said Biss likes to party? Be my guest, cause yeah I got zilch evidence. Your feelings hurt cause I said he ain't no quality player in my books? Have a pop.

But the rest of my post was pretty much facts, my man. He has been caught speeding. He was involved in something pretty big, of which he was cleared. His red cards were stupid. He has had many a poor game for us.

Anyway, all the best.
Did you say that you lied about important stuff? Lol trust me you don't want the lecture on inplication in text, it's implicit not explicit. Kind of do this for a living. And I don't love the player either, unlike bus conductor I don't buy what his metrics say. He has clearly had a dip. I was the one saying I think he's got some issue possibly physical. I did not painstakingly source it by listening to rent a gobs on podcasts...so you know.

Was lookin back to his best vs Newcastle. Tonight he wasn't really in the game.

It was a really tough game, especially for him. They had 5 in midfield and they stuck Gibbs-White on him to do a man marking job. They rightly identified that he's the guy that takes the ball from the defenders and turns. With no Maddison, there was no alternative (we've seen Maddison drop deeper and help us play out earlier in the season). Up until his sending off we'd still had 75% possession and they'd not had a single shot on target.

He's still absolutely vital to the way we play. He's the pivot. He makes mistakes, but he makes them because Ange wants us/him to play that way, to take risks to break the press etc.

Outside of Rodri he's the second highest passing midfielder per 90 in this league, whilst also being the third tackler p90. You will rarely get a player who does so much of both. he's also in the top 10% for carries.

What he's doing, at this level, is pretty rare. It's fucking staggering that there are people advocating hot potato tanks like fucking Hojbjerg over one of the best midfielders we've seen in a spurs shirt for a long time.

Agree.

Biss is a quality player and the only other CM we have that is close to doing what he does is Bentancur.

I'd play Skipp at 6 over PEH tbh. GLC could help with collecting the ball off the CBs next week.

Don't post much on here but watching the game I was sat thinking to myself I was going to post about him and this was before he got sent off.

He's an odd player. He's got so much ability but he seems to be prone to absolute lapses in concentration. Often its an inexplicably poor touch that puts him in trouble and then buys him a card.

Can look a world beater at times. Glides across the pitch and plays the right pass. And then shits the bed and does something stupid.

Totally agree. Plus him being man marked freea up space for someone else but idiotic from him tonight

The red is a mistake and it happens. What I’m more concerned about is that he was utter shit before the red and has been for a month or two now.

We might need to figure this #6 position out. Some say Bentancur but I’m not sure he’s got the defensive ability.
Bentancur is miles better than Bissouma and doesn’t have the shocking mistakes. And has a stable head on his shoulders.

Obviously we're going to say this when it goes against us, but I think they need to change the amount of games for a straight red. With VAR its so much easier to get them now, 4 game bans should be reserved for non football actions.

5 yellows used to be much tougher to 'earn' too.

Has anyone other than Bissouma got 2 reds so far this season? Doesn't seem that easy.

In theory it should be but refs just watch red car challenges and pretend it's nothing.

Between him and Cuti, this shit is not sustainable.

It's beyond stupid.

And they both need to sort it tf out.

And, Udogie ffs.

Fucking hell, tho.
I thought Udogie was very unlucky , it was barely a foul and never a yellow. Also Romero is an aggressive defender that makes and wins loads of challenges. Bisoumma hardly tackles or covers his defenders , yet has 5/6 yellow cards and two reds. Unacceptable and he's let his team mates down in our time of need. The same team mates have dug out two wins despite Bisoumma.

We should appeal the card.

If it gets rejected as a frivolous appeal and it gets changed to a 5 game ban, it doesn't really matter as he is at ACON anyway.

I don't like calling him "stupid." Angeball requires a certain level of aggression and pressing, the team will sometimes be stretched if/when they lose possession and sometimes you see a desperation in response, trying to get the ball right back. It's this, rather than "a discipline issue," and obviously the 6 and the CBs are most susceptible to it.

The irony of all you fat scrawny lazy fucks sitting at your keyboard or buried in your couch tapping at your phone, calling him garbage, lazy, stupid. He's had a dip in form, irrespective of the cards, but he'll get it back, especially with Bentancur, VDV, and/or Maddison back as well to stabilize things and provide a better environment to do what he does best. Meantime we need a better bench to cover him (and Romero).

He needs to stop losing the ball in dumb areas. Of course nobody never loses it, but he seems to frequently lose it by making silly choices. He seems to always try to take a long first touch but he’s not always aware of who’s around him.

He did this earlier in the season but he was dominating midfield and making up for the mistakes. Lately, he hasn’t done much good and he’s still got the mistakes.

And the constant lunging after a mistake is worrisome. You see plenty of players take a bad touch but they realize the ball is lost and try to just make the right play instead of lunging wildly trying to cover up the mistake. He was incredibly late in that challenge today.
