The manager should look in the mirror, and answer some of these!

Why four changes from Monday when only one was enforced (Dembele)?

What is Lamella for (other than running around a lot)?

Why not give Moura a full game?

Anyway, put this debacle behind us and start to prepare for Wednesday. It's still in our hands regardless of what happens tomorrow. Just don't let it go to the final game

Its out of our hands if it goes to the final game. Its going to the last game if Chelsea win tomorrow

This was a crucial game, not just for this season but for the next few seasons to come. If we won today we would have more or less sown up CL football for next season. By losing we now have doubt within the squad, this is a bad time to hit bad form. More over not qualifying for the CL will have massive implications with the new stadium, I'm sure CL football was factored into the economics of the new ground. Players may if they haven't already started look elsewhere, we will then re-enter another rebuilding phase. With the huge bank loans hanging over the club, CL is a must.

I'm upset about this, a fucking shambles.
About 70 mins in and you could see it was going to be a smash and grab.
What disgusts me too is that we played in a way similar to woolwich. So much tippy tappy shit and not enough fucking shooting. How many fucking crosses too? You look at us in the semi, one mistake, Pogba, one cross, instant goal. Our crossing today was as bad as I have ever seen it. We are not good enough when it really counts. Just don't have that extra bit of grit and quality, its sad to say.
We aren't far off, and that is what is maddening. Its like we are a jigsaw puzzle but someone has stolen the last couple of pieces.

Hard not to feel completely deflated after that result.
The last couple of games are beginning to put a real negative spin on this season. Really seems like the team needs freshening up in all areas to give more impetus and focus for next season.

In terms of the mental fragility of the side-there's definitely a case to be made that in quite a few big games we've been edged out by more streetwise teams/managers who've got their teams to win at any cost. It's something we clearly havent mastered yet although time will tell i guess.

At the same time I wouldnt call the team 'bottlers' -losing narrowly to Juve and Man utd who have way more resources in terms of transfer budget and wages is not necessarily 'bottling it' but the fans frustration is understandable because this team has been so close several times to winning something.

The fact that Chelsea are closing the gap is probably the most concerning thing but we definitely have 2 very winnable home games left and it's in our hands-if we cant win those we simply dont deserve champs league football.

We could have played for 900 minutes and still not scored.
No cohesion in our play at all, barely threatened them really.
I really don't like WBA, but have to say they deserved the win, executed their game plan perfectly.
I thought the lineup was decent before kick off with a worry that Wanyama wasn't fit enough. However Kane has gone backwards, looks less sharp than last game, touch was awful and passing too. Lamela had a bit of a bad game and Dele was very quiet. We really missed not having a player to beat a man and get behind their defense. I think Sonny's confidence has been dented, since Kane came back and isn't anywhere near normal Son hasn't played as much. He struggled to make an impact coming on. Moura looked decent and caused them problems, just a shame not on sooner.
I really don't see the point of playing Kane when he is like this. He is not offering much, and only way he will score is if on a plate. He is so far from his best I think it's a problem for him to be starting games.
Lots I agree with and dissagree with here.

Our attack was toothless and we struugled to link up bar a couple af very good moves. Yep, Kane has been shit since his injury, he was good first 15 mins or so, looked sharp but that was it. It is always hard to break down a packed noarrow deffense, and I would have liked for us to have been braver earlier on, but that I mean we ddn't need 3 CB's agianst Rondon, so should have pushed another higher up, Jan almost did this, just not higher up that I would have thought, not brave enough. Son was a ghost, as he has been for a while. But our entire control of the game went after Dele came off.

Whilst Lucas looked good on the ball runnig at them, it was he that gave away the ball, TWICE, that led to their attack which led to the corners and their pressure and ultimatley thier goal. But they certainly didn't deserve anything from that game, that toe poke was their first and only effort on goal, that's not a game plan.

Because we had 4 days since Watford, will have 3 days rest until Newcastle and 4 days before we play Leicester.
We played City 14th April, Brighton 17th, Utd 21st then a rare whole week before Watford and back to playing a game every 3/4 days. That’s draining. We haven’t got a squad big enough with the quality.

When the effing hell is Lucas Moura going to be given some proper time and a proper chance to show what he can do!!? It's not like certain others (we know who they are) are justifying selections with recent dodgy performances... or does Poch just not rate him?

Llorente was on the pitch for five minutes and that’s why we lost?

Nothing to do with Poch, Kane, Lamela and Eriksen all being shit beyond belief today?

All on Trippier again
No, not even calling out Tripps, as you can see I didn't even mention his name. The point is clear, all we fucking seem to do is lump it aimlessly into the box, what the fuck for, it produces the square root of fuck all. Rose was pumping them in to and most of his just sailed over everyones head (at least he still does have the ability to go 1v1 with his deffender and I thought he should have had a penalty late in the game although I have seen no replay of it).

We look like fucking Stoke doing this, it fucking shit. It's a waist of fucking time. That's the point.

You know it was him that gave away the ball, twice, that lead to them getting the corner. I'd say that's why. He's a joy to watch going forward but there are major doubts what he can do deffensively.

I’m as disappointed as the rest of us and I’m not going to pretend today never happened.

However, it’s in our hands still. Beat Newastle and we keep the gap and we’ve been better at Wembley then away recently. And even though we don’t want to rely on it, if Liverpool win tomorrow or there’s a draw then even better, we’re no different to Saturday at 2.59pm.
