I can’t fathom why athleti concluded the deal for felix without the Griezmann money safely banked

Especially weird considering these are transfer release fees we're talking about - i.e. it's not exactly like Benfica were going to push the price up if they knew Griezmann had already been sold.I can’t fathom why athleti concluded the deal for felix without the Griezmann money safely banked

Is this gross or net spend?Spending teams from 2009 to today:
1. Manchester City: € 1.750M
2. Real Madrid: € 1.460M
3. Barcellona: € 1.440M
4. Chelsea: € 1.400M
5. Juventus: € 1.240M
6. Manchester United: € 1.210M
7. Psg: € 1.200M
8. Liverpool: € 1.120M
9. Atletico Madrid: € 983,56 milioni
10. Inter: € 935,56 milioni
Most likely gross, considering how much teams like Liverpool, United, Barcelona and Real Madrid have made from sales since 2009...Is this gross or net spend?
Mixture of having to build squad from scratch ( other teams with similar spending already had very good squads with world class players) and bad luck.Ridiculous that City never got to a CL final and only once to the semi-finals.
And fairly poor management on Pep's part like starting without De Bruyne AND Sane at Spurs for example, not just bad luck.Mixture of having to build squad from scratch ( other teams with similar spending already had very good squads with world class players) and bad luck.

Hadnt De Bruyne just come back from an injury. Maybe wasnt fully fit. Why would he deliberately not start his best player? And fairly poor management on Pep's part like starting without De Bruyne AND Sane at Spurs for example, not just bad luck.
Teams dont officially put out net spend. Sounds a silly thing to do.I think that the figures are officially indicated by the teams and therefore the net. They are clearly to be used as an indicator. They also do not take into account sales against purchases.
Thank fuck. Now the plastics can all rest and enjoy the summer.
Or maybe not...................................!!!
Kane's better!Barca have arguably grabbed the 3rd best player in the world....along with Messi, they will be such a force next season.
