The talk about a DOF is encouraging. Our support setup under Poch lagged behind the pacemakers (Liverpool, City). Hopefully we invest heavily in scouting and recruitment.

There is no way we are getting a Director of Football

Mourinho has never worked with one and it's one of the reasons he left Utd

Reading this thread is like a comedy.

"boooo hooooo hooooo I don't want a manager who has won everything and is a winner, I want Poch. Poch has won nothing in his career and has been presiding over relegation form for the best part of a year. But I like him, because he is Poch. And I want good football! I know the football of late under Poch has been utterly abysmal. I know we were humiliated at Brighton. But, I want my Poch boooo hooooo hoooooooooooo. Boooooooo hoooooooo hoooooooooooooo the man who won us NOTHING has been sacked. Boooo hooooo fucking hooooooo.

Anyone mourning the loss of this loser isn't fit to be a Spurs fan. If you want constant mediocrity and winning nothing go and support West Ham. You loser mugs.

That’s what I thought, which is why I wondered where the talk was coming from.

I think we need to revamp our backroom, though. Levy needs to have less of a hand in transfer business.

Too many fans are so desperate for some bling that they are willing and cheering to see the club piss away its soul and glory. I'd rather go my entire lifetime without seeing Spurs lift a trophy if they played beautiful football and had a positive, constructive influence on the world of football than see us win the league under a typical Mourinho reign. I hate the cunt with a passion. He is a disgrace to the sport that I love.
We get it so fuck off for three years then come back when he's gone - most off us have seen managers come and go and care about the club not some jobsworth - clearly that's not for you. Come back in three years or maybe less who knows.

Mourinho needs mature proven players but I think mostly he has that at Spurs.

He gives us the best chance of convincing the likes of Kane, Son, Vertonghen to stay. We need quick results or they'll be off.

Just hope he can wind his ego in a bit and channel the outsider mentality that saw him succeed at Porto and Chelsea first time.

Although Mourinho has a history of creating a toxic dressing room, compare the current group to his other clubs and the personalities he inherited there, at Utd, Chelsea, Real etc. In comparison it’s not a bad group here really, much better than when Poch took over. So he has a sound platform to build on. Hopefully there is no drama.

Oh well, after a couple of day of sitting on my hands, some work has come in. I have to edit a thesis on the Second Treatise of the Great Seth, a 3rd century apocryphal Gnostic text on the nature of Christ.

As you might imagine, I have as much idea on this matter as any of you do, precisely zero, so I'll be kept away from the debate raging on whether José Mourinho is the man or not. Probably for the best, my thoughts are all over the place.

Have fun and see you on Saturday

YIDS, always YIDS

None of us can be right all the time, mate.

However, I, along with a few others, have been fully vindicated in our insistance that the relationship between Poch and Levy turned sour last Summer over which way the club should move forward.

While others threw dogs abuse at me and insisted the two were singing from the same hymn sheet and had the best relationship in football, I exposed the cracks and predicted the whole affair would end like this.

In fact, the likes of SchmoodSpur SchmoodSpur Airfixx Airfixx and sammyspurs sammyspurs still refuse to admit to and own their humiliation

Cool story, twat.

It's just because his title is 'Head Coach'

but we've done that some we aren't legally replacing Poch as 'Manager', no other reason - it's happened every time we've changed manager

This is now official.

A natural winner.
I’m willing to give him the chance.

Let’s face it, he has some record -
