Oh busboy
Keane was brilliant box to box midfielder in forest , early Utd days. I mean Paul Ince was a very decent DM and Keane was head and shoulders above him .... to just try and offer some context

I know football is a game of mixed opinions but I can’t believe I crossed someone who thinks Fernandinho is a better player than Keane... let alone twice the player

I’m going to file that under .... not a fucking clue

I’m going to file that under nostalgic “proper football man” bollocks.

Since the end of last season we have:

Signed - Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Clarke, Gedson Fernandes, Bergwijn (average age when signing them works out to 20/ 21 years of age)

Sold/ moved out on loan - Trippier, Eriksen, Janssen, Nkoudou, Llorente, Carter-Vickers, Walker-Peters, Rose, Eriksen, Onomah

Apart from us maybe convincing Eriksen & Llorente to stay on for different reasons and getting Wanyama off of our books I think it's been a hugely promising couple of windows to be fair. 6 players at an average age of 20/21 years of age and 10 players sent packing, alll but 2 peripheral figures in the squad I hunk it sets us up very well as we look towards the next generation of Spurs players to see wearing our shirt.
Eriksen was so shite we got rid of him twice?

Not sure this has been mentioned.

But apparently we are hot for Hoejbjerg(Southampton).

Get ready for an even bigger influx of Danes if that happens - Kid is mad loved in Denmark.

Not sure how I feel about the kid tho..

Can be balls to the walls good, and can look like a complete dummy other times.

Now you've met two. Keane was clogger just like most of the PL back then. And his scrawny 5'10" tough guy act was laughable. Fernandinho is a much better footballer even taking into account the general technical improvement of the PL.
Ahh like London buses... and you got the conductor

think we both know this debate isn’t even going to get off the ground as we know there’s no resolve to it

As reporting we've broken off negotiations with Real Sociedad

Very good player and exactly the type we need, more likely to be the summer SKY are reporting

Clarke is 4 years younger and £6m+ cheaper.

Exactly. What was Jarrod Bowen doing stats wise at Clarke's age? Was he even playing first team football? That seems like the main barometer being used at present to judge 18/19 year old Clarke so it would be interesting to see.

Edit: Jarrod Bowen hadn't even made his debut for Hull when he was Clarke's age. 177 minutes of league football in the season he was 19/20 and what looks like 1 start, ironically the game where we hammered Hull 7-1 last game of the season:

It's far too early to be knocking the signing of Jack Clarke. You sign potential with signings like him, not because they are or are guaranteed to make it as the finished article.
