Fuck me; did you even read the reply and consider how it related to what you previously wrote?

Stop melting about some Deeney clickbait nonsense for 5 seconds and think about what's actually being said to you:

- Brosovic @ DM is not better than we have (i.e. Winks or Sissoko played out of position)? ...A specialist DM in that position will improve us greatly.
- Skriniar @ CB is not an improvement on the much maligned Sanchez or Dier?
- Unless you are a Serge fan, how can you say Celik is not an improvement?
- The mention of Wilson as a back-up ST is NOT me advocating Deeney, is it FFS....???

:mourcheeks:

I am not taking about Brozovic,Celik or Skrinar .but they have never played in the prem so we do not know how good they are. I am taking about
Wilson , Brooks and Hojbjerg It maybe rubbish but it's the paper talk I was talking about .

Eriksen > Moutinho

Falcao left off the list. We dodged a bullet there!

Dybala never considered Spurs. He was negotiating with United. Same with Bruno.
Hazard chose Chelsea over us.
We were never in for Mane.
Willian signed a contract; then tore it up.
David Villa was about 86 years old when we were linked to him.
Eto.....went to Everton. Look how that worked out.
Hulk only ever wanted $$$. Wasn't interested in football.

Should we also blame ENIC for not signing Ronaldo?

Every club has lists like this. Look at what we could have had etc.

Ours just seems worse because we've won fuck all. It's not so bad if you win trophies, you sort of forget about players you've missed out on. I hope we're in that position one day.

Either or could be complete bollocks.

Regardless.

"For once I would love to read we are linked to someone who can actually improve us."

I advised you of some links....

If all your revised decalration is saying is that EPL proven superstars need only apply then I'll leave it at that, but please don't whinge in your next breath about Ziyech, Werner, Havertz, Hakimi or some other fancy bit of of European action, cos they have yet to kick a ball in the EPL.

We've played Inter twice in the CL recently and Inter have been regulars in that tournament the last couple of years. Surely the concept of Brozovic and Skriniar being good is not farfetched?

Did Levy fail to buy Suarez or was it Redknapp who didn’t want him because he thought he was too similar to VdV and dim tim and sir les didn’t rate him after watching him play? (that still pisses me off to this day)

Or is that just a list (some right, some wrong) to play on people’s boring agendas (which we have to listen to repeatedly every day and add nothing to the conversation in this thread anyway) and that twitter account doing it to get more followers as they know it’s low hanging fruit?

It was Harry and his team that said no to Suarez as I remember it.

Correct. Redknapp asked for Tevez and Cahill in the January window, and was delivered Saha and Nelsen.
It's not as simple as going down to Tesco and buying a Tevez and a Cahill you know.... err... something about third-party issues.

Anyway, Ryan Nelsen was a "top, top player". Harry Redknapp said so. And I for one always believe 100% what managers say. Well, when it suits my argument at least.
