Most fans went in with a positive mindset into the CL final - I certainly did as cup games have little relation to form. And the FA Cup semi vs Utd when Vorm took a shit. And the FA Cup semi vs Chelsea when we played Son at LB. And Colchester, etc.

Of course but they are one off games (where the team failed to perform) I’m talking about generally at games at the stadium. Results have picked up without the moaners there, which have become more audible as soon as the team goes through an extended rough patch.

Blue Moon makes for fun reading.

Severely unimpressed by the thought of signing Winks.

Their sense of entitlement is literally off the scale. Small club in Manchester wins the lottery after being bought by human rights abusers & now they think they can lord it over everyone else.

So glad we fucked them up in the CL last season.
Not surprised because like a few on here think, they have Foden and he’s better than Zlatan

Worth a quick reminder of the UEFA squad rules :

1. Overseas trained players - Maximum 17

2 Club Trained Players - Minimum 4
(Player who has spent a minimum of 3 years at Spurs before the age of 18)

3 Players trained by other clubs affiliated to The Football Association - Maximim 4

4. Under 21 (List B players) - Unlimited
Player must have spent at least 2 years at the club from age 15 as well as being u21.

Club Trained Players in Spurs First team squad
Kane, Winks, Rose (3)

Players trained by other clubs affiliated to The Football Association
Dele, Sessegnon (2)

Overseas Trained Players
Lloris, Gazzaniga, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Dier, Foyth, Aurier, Davies, Ndombele, Sissoko, Gedson (loan), Hojbjerg, Son, Moura, Lamela. Lo Celso, Bergwijn (17 - the maximum).
(NB. Under PL rules Davies counts as HG)

Given the number of matches Spurs may play next season (maybe 60), it is apparant that we cannot only use the 17 'Overseas Trained Players' , we need to use players from the other categories - but note it requires 3 years at Spurs to get the 'Club Trained' player status and with Rose likely to leave within next 12 months (if not this summer), I'm pleased to see the likes of Tanganga, Cirkin and White likely to be involved next season with Parrott and Skipp out on loan - good long term planning.
We could probably do with bringing someone back by the looks of it. Or at least bump up the squad with some homegrowns from other clubs.

EDIT: Whiteman turns 22 in October. Is he then automatically moved to the list with Kane, Winks and Rose or is he stuck as youth until the end of the season?

Because Daniel wants to go the cheap route and see what happens, and Jose wants to win now.
Or because he’s a Spurs fan that built a Spurs academy and might find it mildly interesting to see it work and pay off?

Interesting how it’s called the cheap route by staying relatively grass roots and keeping football real and local. Actual kids from Tottenham can play for this club at the highest level.

Also interesting considering the one player nobody wanted to rest for the last five years is from the academy and considered priceless.

Also worth knowing contract termination dates - anyone on under 2 years left Spurs will want an extended contract signed (otherwise at one year left on contract the player's value drops) or player will be leaving :

2021 Rose (and Gedson loan ends)
2022 Lloris, Gazzaniga, Aurier, Foyth, Lamela Austin, Whiteman
2023 Alderweireld Son Sissoko, Clarke, Parrott, White, Bowden
2024 Kane, Dele, Winks, Sanchez Moura, Davies, Skipp, Dier, Tanganga
2025 Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Bergwijn, Hojbjerg
Sissoko for another 3 years. 😱

With a 50% sell on clause if Edwards is going for £20-£30 million we should give it a go, im guessing he would be classed as Home Grown, give him the EL games to show what he has, if he ends up not cutting it in a better league we can just sell him on again, but for £10-15 million he is worth a punt!

Sorry - not buying it - most fans moan
