No striker still.

All this talk is just that..... talk. Fallacy.

Maybe the club think we are fcuking idiots but this is wreckless in the extreme.

3 games coming up. Kane will be lucky to get through them unscathed, even if he plays only 135 minutes. The games are piling up.

Son now out, who is no replacement and still we are fed lie upon lie upon lie.

We will deserve what we will inevitably get.

Kane will play all 3 of the upcoming games this week, if he is lucky and escapes injury he will then will go away with England and play 3 games in 6 days. Fucking joke

Diallo seems pretty keen on us and wouldn't be that expensive.

he can physically occupy space so that's about all the criteria ticked.

Job Application; Striker
1. You must be a striker
2. Definitely not a winger
3. You must play with the confidence of a top international
4. But accept you are not quite as good as Harry Kane
5. You must cost at least £30mil - so spurs fans think they are getting someone good
6. But less than 35mil - so Daniel Levy can sleep at night
7. you must have no history or injuries
8. Or any affiliation to Woolwich, or Chelsea, or any other shit team or Watford

This ‘Kane back up’ stuff is nonsense. We need another striker whether Kane’s our number one or not; who’s to say that striker x can’t play alongside Kane.

Who can we afford that will come in and play with Kane?

Who is available and that we can afford and will play ahead of Bale and Son?

Or are you proposing that we will play with two upfront and Bale and Son in the same line-up? And if so does GLC still make it in to that line-up?

What I’m suggesting is that we need a striker à la Celtic guy or equivalent, that can truly play. I appreciate Jansen and Soldado didn’t cut it etc; but the talk of a ‘Kane back-up’ sets the wrong tone for any would be incoming striker. We need another out & out striker; whether he can play with Kane, Son or Bale, whilst dropping GLC is another argument. The number of games Kane’s expected to play will ultimately lead to burn out and injury. All top end clubs have more than one lead striker...

Totally agree. 1. Kane never plays every game because of injuried. 2. We always have loads of games and Kane can't/shouldn't play them all. There are opportunities and if the player we sign plays well they are going to get to play alongside Kane anyway because who wouldn't play a player who is doing well and scoring goals? I'm surprised there aren't more ambitious strikers out there who want to play for us to be honest. Bunch of pussies.

Because what sort of team do you end up with?

A front four of Son (can't be dropped), Kane (ditto) Bale (Ditto) and another striker, then what? Iceberg and Winks as our midfield?

This hurts more than even the Pedro Mendes incident. At least before VAR, no matter how had the decision was, you could accept that people made mistakes. This situation has actually been intentionally engineered by the idiots running our game

So, you’re happy to go with our attacking force as we are? Just as we experienced before lockdown both Son & Kane were out injured.. I appreciate Bale is a great option, but we need to be considering beyond this... injuries occur regularly.. an hungry new striker is imperative to notching our way forward... in my opinion, if we don’t do something special this season, Kane will go. Then what?
