What´s happened to this guy? He was a beast in his first season here, he looked like he could go on to be a legend for us. But the decline after his debut season is crazy.

Our best CB pairing at the moment is probably Toby-Rodon. We really need Skriniar in January, or someone in the same bracket. Our defence is costing us a lot of points, and thats just sad with the amazing offensive power we´we got

yeah, so gutting, looked as if he could be a world beater. Maybe he could recapture some form with a top partner, but really our options are just atrocious now. Hopefully Rodon can bring something but it’s such a shitty environment to bring him into (in terms of quality and leadership skills around him in defence), we can hardly expect him to basically sort this out on his own. He was the last minute roll of the dice singing for the future.

As you say, such a shame when that side is so foundational to Jose’s game, and with what we have at the other end.

Hold on, didn't Jose hand out absolutely retarded bumper contracts to 2 centre halves in the last few months? Is his judgement so screwed?

He is also absolutely zero threat from attacking corners and set pieces - I cannot ever remember him scoring an attacking header in 3 years at the club.

People hoping king or mourinho can help him are going to be disappointed.

Dav has numerous professional appearances now, he has had all the coaching you could wish for.

There comes a point when a player needs to take responsibility for his performances. He needs to concentrate for the full game, not have a brainfart, make good decisions. These things aren't necessarily coached.
I think that boat has sailed for Sanchez.

Tanganga and Rodon are likely to get more out of King and Mourinho as coaches. I would absolutely 100% rather we give them the game time instead.
